Don't forget. You have other things you can do for videos if your doctor says no scrapping for a while. Your G-Man interview interview was terrific. You had mentioned some scrap related tours you would like to do. I think a worship service practice and and introduction of your church family (assuming they were willing, of course) would be great. The girl that worked at the scrap yard that started a reptile business with her husband, that would be fun to revisit. You are a wealth of interesting activities that don't ruin your shoulder.

So happy to see you back! I had surgery 6 years ago for frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tear & bicep tear. Despite many, many warnings about how grueling and painful it was going to be, I didn't have any problems at all, and not even a lot of pain. The difference afterwards was such a relief. Prayers for your healing my friend.

My son has adhd and his pediatrician said when he found his niche. He would excel and she was 100% right. Like you Paul he can turn his hand at just about anything. He could barely get through doing homework and now is a flow co-ordinator at a major tire plant and was just offered another promotion. He bought a home and is expecting his first child. That label does not define you. Believe me , I couldn't be prouder of his accomplishments as you should be too Paul. :)

That's the problem with society nowadays. Everybody's gotta have a "label". If people were more interested in RAISING their children instead of LABLEING them, they'd excel in anything they wanna do!!

Glad to see you back! That is a brake drum forge, by the way. Side intake is for bellows or any forced air apparatus, and bottom flap is the cleanout. Fill it fill of coal or hardwood charcoal (not briquets), light it, turn on forced air by whatever method you have, place iron into fire, pull iron out and smack it with a hammer upon an anvil (or other solid metal object), and with a little good luck you get a knife, a fitted horseshoe, etc. With bad luck you get a trip to the emergency room, and skin grafts. God Bless!

I absolutely love your new truck- I giggled when you called 'er "Clifford". Since you use the doors so much, it would be a very good idea to get some hinge lube. Make it a good investment for both trucks. You gotta use something with graphite. Don't use WD-40. It is a lubricant but it will also dry up any lube that's on there. Hoping you get yourself fixed up. Should be a great summer this year. Be safe. God bless you. 🙏

My hubby has many traits in common with you. He has trouble with boring things, lack of patience if things take to long. He also gets overwhelmed knowing where to start things. When he was decluttering his shed, I got a long table. Sorted all his nuts, bolts & tools etc into smaller piles. Cleaned of some shelves. All he had to do was put each pile where he wanted them. Then I'd start on the next section & get it sorted ready. Don't get me wrong I have trouble with coping with his forgetfulness. I don't think I'm a patient person with people close to me. Most people say I have a lot of patience. They do say that it's harder to stay that way with close family.

It's really good to see you back, and obviously there's a lot of people making comments here who feel the same way. Don't overdo it, please--the suggestion by one of your audience that you just drive around sharing your homespun wisdom and manner rather than picking up metal that might stress or strain. I think you're too modest to realize how many people like you, and REALLY like you, for example the reptile woman and Michael at DeKalb Metal and Iron. I get the impression Michael is a shrewd businessman with a good sense of the value of things, and in addition to the value of the public relations you do for his company with your youtube videos, he surely sees that you take care to supply him only with the best quality of scrap metal possible (i.e., very little wood and plastic attached)--and so if you asked, probably he might be willing to pay ten or fifteen cents a pound for what you sell him.
