I've stated it in several videos and answered dozens of questions about Olivia's ears. I'll do it again here. I got her one year ago and she had severe ear infections. Took her to the vet and we treated her with antibiotics and cleaning solutions with medications. We did that and it only subsided slightly. We went another route with this cream. That worked somewhat but the infection was persistent. We have been going back and forth with antibiotics and antibiotic cream in addition to cleaning out her ears daily. Now, we are working with nutrition and allergies. Most likely her ears were infected for years before I got her 1 year ago. She is almost 6. I've been to the vet with her almost a dozen times. I'm working with talented and caring veterinarians doing our best to help her. Sadly I think there has been permanent damage. We continue to monitor clean, medicate, and do our best to care for and treat Olivia's ears.

@@ScrapPalletMan I had a dog who got a lot of ear issues, eventually changing him to a lamb and rice kibble diet (with a little lamb and rice or only beef canned food "supper") helped a lot along with allergy shots. Tis the season for pollen, so you may find Cytopoint to be very helpful. I know you are a wonderful pet parent who is taking good care of your baby. My dog was allergic to all things poultry, chicken, turkey and eggs, so finding food was a pain as I had to find food with no egg products. My other dog was allergic to poultry AND anything orange (carrots, sweet potato, etc) Dog allergies are a pain!

​@@ScrapPalletMan I know that you have done all that you can with your sweet Olivia!! You are a good "Doggy Daddy"!!!!! This is what I did years ago. We had a St. Bernard that had a nasty ear infection...and I mean NASTY!!! Many trips to the vet too. One night the poor guy came to me whining and woke me up!! I remember cleaning out his ears with warm water and a clean cloth...next I used cotton with Hydrogen Peroxide and dabbed that in his ears. Lastly, I used his vet salve, but every other day I used Neosporin. In other words I worked on his ears every other day...alternating the salves. In about 1 1/2 weeks the ears were HEALED UP!!! Keeping you and Olivia in my prayers, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!!!!

After boiling eggs, put them in ice water. They will peel right off most of the time. Take Olivia with you once week or so, maybe for a couple hours each time. She will love to spend the time with you. She might even learn to like it. My mix doesn’t like the ride much but loves to go adventuring with me. 21:52

I de-shell the eggs in a bowl with a little bit of water. Back when I had garage sales, I would purchase auction lots at estate sales and have a large table full of hardware and junk drawer items. Having people pick and make their own pile at a cheep price. Seeing how cheep the price was, they would go back for more. $$$$👍👍👍

Add about a half teaspoon baking soda to the water when you boil your eggs. They peel easily.

Bring eggs to a boil. Take off heat, let them set 1 hr covered in the water. Will peel well every time. If let them set longer do not peel very well. Works for me. Another nice scrapping run. Enjoy listening to you

Hello Paul, hubby aka Billand I are new to your channel, so we are watching the older ones, as well as the new ones. After your water starts boiling, let them boil for 13 minutes. If you smash/roll your eggs, then put them in really cold water, then when you peel them, start in the end that has a divit. One end is right close to the egg, while the other end has space between the egg and shell. Also, super fresh eggs are harder to peel. Get week old eggs for hardboilling.

Paul I find the best way is to do it right after the gees come out of the hot water. put them under warm running water and crack the shell and try to get under the membrane that is just under the shell and let the water help you peel it. I also find that putting about a teaspoon of slat in the boiling water helps as well. The best way I have to get hard "boiled eggs" is not to boil them but to steam them but they must me at room temp or they pop the shell.

Olivia time my favorite time of the day. It's probably best she doesn't get used to riding in the truck with you when you scrap she can't come in the summer it would be too much for her and it would hurt her feelings if you left her and she was used to going. Hi Paul, so glad i stummbled on to your channel. Got my husband hooked on it too. When i boil eggs i always do more than one at a time. When done i empty the water, put the lid on then shake them up real good. The shells fall off then. I think Miss O was enjoying her ride. She wasn't panting, running front to back or fussing. Or throwing up like mine did. She was comfortable to just lay down and be with you. She was comfortable to lay down and be with you. But you know her best!!! Your a good dad. God bless

Great video, Paul!! So, if you want your boiled eggs to peel effortlessly, rather than boiling them, pressure cook them for 6 minutes, and then cool them with cold tap water. Even the freshest eggs, all you have to do is tap the shells and the shells will FALL OFF!! Pressure cooking the eggs forces water under the shell, making the shells almost fall off. Instant pot works the same, but I just use a pressure cooker I picked up at a Goodwill. 👍👍👍

The fire control company i scrap from threw away a road sign the other day for me to have My scrap yard won't take it at the small scale, even tho t is aluminum. But are okay for us to throw it in the shred pile. Anyone who takes an active sign is no bueno. Yet if the user throws it away, well. I kept the sign. It hangs in the barn now. Paul, when hard boiling your eggs, use a push pin to prick the wide end of the egg. It will make peeling the eggs much easier.

Hey Paul, being a woman as I am just wanted to let you know tge best way to peel a hard boiled egg. First don't roll it cause then you will have dozens of small shell bits to pick off, just crack the egg and with a wet hand pull off the first piece then you will see the film thats over the egg, take that film and peel it with the shell. That film which is white is a membrane that covers the egg under the shell and its what keeps you from peeling the egg without pulling the egg white off with the shell. The key is the wet finger and peeling the egg with the white film coming off at the same time. Hope that will help you.

To peel a hard boiled egg the easy way - dump out the hot water, then shake the pan to crack the shell & add cold water, let it sit for a few minutes then the shell should come right off. Good Luck!
