This is brilliant! I'd like some information about the trucks: make, modifications, bodies ... do you have any resources, links, etc.?

Chassis... Any 1/10 2wd mid or rear motor buggy. Battery must remain on the chassis centerline. No material may be added to the chassis but you may remove material to lighten it up. Body. Any 1/10 scale American manufactured sedan body from 1960 to present. McAllister Racing has a ton of bodies that fit this class. All 4 tires must remain under body. All bodies must be at least 9 inches wide. The body must have the windshield . Rear window and side windows must be removed. Spoiler... 1” max height. will be measured from deck lid to top of spoiler. No preformed spoilers allowed. Made from flat stock only Motor... Any 21.5 5.40 brushless motor no 4 pole Electronics... Any ESC blinky mode only Tires ... 1/10 rubber buggy tires only no foam tires allowed Drivetrain... 2wd buggy chassis with gear box transmission only Batteries...Any 2s Lipo 7.4 volt battery. No high voltage packs

@@WRCE2020 Thank you very much for your detailed answer! Although there is not such RC scene where I live, I'd like to build such street stock rig just to bash around. There are some cool looking bodies out there! AE recently launched the SR10, which seems to be exactly that class. What about short course conversions? Aren't those too big? A also think about misusing one of those recent drag cars (DR10, 22S Drag, Drag Slash), because they also offer a lot of bodies to choose from. With a bit of trimming and other wheels/tires it should work fine and look good. Do you have any experience with drag cars on dirt tracks or bashing? Nobody seems to do this, but the bodies look pretty nice. Cheers!

@@mikefeit7177 thanks for your reply. Shortcourse 2wd is the bomber class, using vintage bodies as well, most people at the local track are using Traxxas slash 2wd brushed !! It is fast you can check my other onboard video racing that class with a brushed slash 2wd. Nastruck is 4wd Shortcourse trucks with any SC truck body.

So I wouldn't be able to convert an old junk nitro rc10gt1 into the street stock? Cant afford to buy a buggy and I bought a 4wd short course I can't compete with cuz everyone around me is apparently brushless. Need a more rtr out the box class to bring more folks in I think.....

We do this sort of thing here in Northern California except with real cars. 100, 200, and 400 lap races. And in October 2020 we went to Texas and participated in a 600 lap enduro.

That level of racing is one, if not two, tax brackets above 95% of the average RC racing enthusiast I'm willing to bet. Walk around the pits and see how many car owners filed a 1040EZ in the last decade I'd be interested in those stats.

Imagine brushed motors with 21T on it and 10000mah 7.2 to 7.6 that would easily be a death 100 laps, a little slower but that extra brush would allow the motor to last all that. Also it would be like an stamina race... of course cooling coil will have to be added thats a lot of heat... othet than that this on brushless is awesome

Indeed, power starts fading drastically when the brushed motor gets hot. You can check it out the onboard video on this channel , we were running a stock slash 2wd titan motor

Buggy based 2wd street stocks look more scale sorry not as bulky as the slash bodies. Y'all flying though for a brushless 2wd slash on dirt I have a highly moded lcg slash built for open modified or A mod of you call it that with a sipple.speedshop body and stock power system in it and completely moded suspension ECT from dirt works or custom works the one Tony Stewart owns and it holds it own against purpose built sct a mod class
