In 2024, I find it very funny to see so many Italians walking around in blue jeans and athletic shoes. when I was in Florence and in Rome in 1993, I was walking in Florence with my blue jeans and my white sneakers on and a man walking behind us said oh you must be from the United States. He was very nice, but, Was indicating that I was not quite fashionable and my blue jeans and my sneakers. However, my feet were very tired from walking from the past two weeks on vacation and I needed to give them a rest in my sneakers. This happened all over Europe. It also happened in Paris when I wore my blue jeans and my sneakers to walk my friend’s dog. My boyfriend told me, The woman probably thought I was the Portuguese maid. So one can see now you cannot go anywhere in Europe without seeing men and women dress in blue jeans and sneakers🇺🇸😊🇺🇸
