Just purchased this bike as my first bike. Absolutely LOVE it. Thought it might be too much power for my first one but honestly its soooo smooth and easy to ride. Kept it in rain mode for 50 mile just to get used to it now ive switched to road and it's just an absolute joy to ride... Not attempted sport yet 😂

Now power difference from road to sport. You get a sharper throttle and it lets you wheelie a lot higher.

i was in a bad car accident with money coming soon, your comment cemented the decision for me dude! i was only worried it would be too much power for a first bike but if its truly that smooth itll be cake,

I‘ve had similar wheel stickers on my bike but all yellow which was a bit much. Those on the other hand look pretty good with the white and yellow

The rim stickers looks great! I've been looking for rim stickers as well (same bike & color) but those I have found are a bit 'too much' - those you have are just just right - may I ask where you got hold of those? Next, I might as some more spashes of color, like yellow front & rear reservoir caps. DBK Special parts make some good stuff. They also got yellow/clear oil bath cover & preassure plate - looks sick!

@ma6b222 Thanks, here is the link. I didn't use the compete kit like you said some are a bit to much. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08FT26HKL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

White/red arai with yellow bike... i wonder how it looks once sitting. I recently bought a Tsubasa Arai for a white ducati that lasted me 3 weeks(stolen) and now this is the bike i will buy.

I know this may sound weird, but I like the contrast when it comes to helmet graphics. The less the helmet matches the better. I do have a bike that is white, and another that is blue. The helmet does kinda match, buts its not preferable :)
@Halo00yingyang4 ай бұрын
@@Yo-Ken I think it is not weird at all. It sounds weird, but when looked, it doesn't sound weird. Saw some people with shohei/arai helmets non-matching their bike and it looked sick. That is when i went ahead and bought a colorful one.

Luv the rim tape. Under used accessory for boring black rims. Your bike color contrasting so nicely makes it less of a necessity, but they'd really wake up all these all black and gray death bed bikes the market has been flooded with since that damn Sons of Anarchy. BTW, I got to ride ST at a demo a couple weeks ago. Loved the upper body ergos. Pegs way too high for my decrepit legs. Loved the engine too. Brakes are way too grabby. Silly putting race brakes on a street bike IMO. Shock was also way too stiff. May be able to adjust some of that out, seemed sprung for a well manicured European race track rather that beat up back roads. Handling was of course butter. Boy, if they could soften that thing up a little around the edges, I could be easily persuaded. I also road a Tiger 900 Rally and that thing was far and away the best riding road bike of any in their lineup that I tried. Shame I need a step stool to get on and off it.

Its a sporty ride for sure, but you can set the suspension more for comfort. I have tuned my to my liking. The overall fit for me is perfect.

I have the red 24 - bought red reflective tape, still need to put it on. Ken i need info or link please on the Grips! so limited due to the OEM mounting, Thank You
Honestly I've owned mine for 9 months now have about 3k miles the stator cover has started to leak oil at the bottom bolt. With all that being said I'm very disappointed with European bikes as this is now my third that's had a oil leak. I've owned about 15 Japanese bikes and have never had any issues with some having over 20k mileage. Super disappointed as I like the bike alot and hoping the repair won't continuous?
@Yo-Ken4 ай бұрын
Yeah I get it... it looks like an easy fix though. I did noticed a little crud around the lower part of the stator housing, but no visible leak on mine. I guess its a gasket issue. For me its not a big deal, but I do understand why your are disappointed.

@@Yo-Ken it really isn't a big deal (the repair)but now it's been my 3 rd bike in a row and dealing with getting to the dealership and etc is a pain

Leave the rim tape on. Does it have more bottom end than the fz1?
@Yo-Ken4 ай бұрын
Good questions, from a 20mph roll the Triple feels quicker to about 65, but once the FZ is at 65 in first gear, it pulls much harder and keeps pulling.

I'd sell a kidney before my triple, keep the wheel strip's a splash of colour adds a little something.
