I grew up building mopars, which I loved. but I also like 4 bangers, and always have. I think it's funny as hell when a little 2 liter beats a v8. I used to have a 79 Plymouth fire arrow from japan....a true jdm car. it had the Mitsubishi 2.6l. one night a guy in a small block chevelle kept screwing with me. so the light turned and we went. by the time I shifted to second, I was already 2 car lengths ahead, so I shut it down. he followed me to the car wash. and he was pissed, saying I had nitrous. which I didn't. he got even more pissed when I showed him it didn't even have a header. then his girl friend started laughing at him, and his friends too. I never saw him again after that....haha

seriously it only takes say.. 5g give or take.. depending on the motor... to make a honda run 11s.. only way you can get into the tens is with a good setup.. you don't even need more than 400whp to hit 10s. you just gotta hook up.... goodluck with 5g for the v8s.

WTF....some one explain how a motor engineered by japan has 4 LESS cyl. and all the domestics have 4 MORE cyl. and these little civics run the same times or better as a car with 8 cyl. If civic ever made a v8 these poor little domestics could not stand a chance.

i have a stock 4g93 mitsubishi lancer and i totally dominated an sir civic with b20 engine.. well, its either the civicdriver doesnt know how to drive or the car was set up wrong. no need to have a v8 to beat civics. rotaries/ 4g63/4g93 /rb20de/2jz would do the work.

Civic are easier to find, build, and you won't have to worry about the cars reliablity. idk about u but if I had a skyline, I would never make it a drag car, because is rare, most likey once in a life time car.
