I know right. I like it though. Kimbo found out what happens when you fight a smaller opponent and skilled practitioner of mma. I liked Kimbo but I knew he didn’t have the experience to fight a guy who has been in the octa quite a bit. Kimbo could slug it out and appeared unstoppable in the backyard, he had no idea what it was like to have a guy smaller than him knock him out much less that quickly. From a Mai Thai background I knew what the guys game plan bc it’s the same with all mismatches in size. Use their own power against them. Rapid fire counters, keep them off balance, strike the legs, and once you’ve weakened the legs your opponent suddenly becomes the short man in the fight. That’s exactly what he did in seconds (16) against Kimbo. Ppl were saying Kimbo slipped but mma fights didn’t have to see a replay to know what happened. Kimbo came forward in a charge almost and the guy waited until kimbo got close and kicked his shin backwards causing him to lean forward, miss the strike and end up looking down (shorten his height and boom lights out). Much respect for these scrappers but don’t think that it’s time to jump in the rink with someone who’s been training for years. Even the basics of discipline focuses on what most vulnerabilities these guys don’t know they have

Also I disagree that every man regardless of training level thinks theyre good at fighting. Joining a boxing gym or a wrestling gym etc will quickly humble you and you will find out that you can't fight for shit. Its only untrained guys who think theyre much better than they are.
