haha, allow me to be the first person to comment on this video. fucking love this album, felt so good hearing jimmy break out of the pumpkins formula for the first time, and loving it, while still maintaining maximum levels of jimmyness. not only that, but the music itself is fucking amazing too. fusion type stuff is often hit and miss with me, but this album just resonated deeply in my brain

Jimmy is without a doubt my favorite drummer. He made me truly appreciate the drums as an instrument and inspired me to play them myself. His tone and touch are unmistakable, and as much recognition as he gets, I still consider him underrated. Just the other day I had someone say "he's good, but he's not THAT good." Truly someone who never actually listened to Jimmy.

He is instnantly identifiable with a feel and flavor all his own. Monster chops but always plays to push the song and elevate the music vs showing his blazing speed. One of a kind -- and one of the Gods of the Drums.
