Once in Alaska definitely have them prepare it for winter. And install a topper in the lower 48. Spend the money on moose lights, 2nd spare tire, etc, not go fast bits

Ima put it like this. Always have 5k in your bank for maintenance, duramax is the most expansive motor to work on, the 6.7 power stroke is a lot more reliable, makes great power, not as smooth ride as a duramax, but rather have a straight axle, than an IFS, delete your truck, an lml is amazing I love them, but you’ll have to do a cp3 conversion to save your engine, because on gm diesel’s their co4 fuel pump is garbage, don’t just add a air dog and tune, make an lml truley reliable make the cp3 conversion. Kryptonite is an amazing brand for IFS systems. A Cummins is a great engine, but their tranny cooler is a problem, it’s what causes the tranny to heat and grenade, but other than that, it’s great.
