There's a discussion that starts at 4:35 where Craig's shooter tells him "I GOTTA GUN, leave me alone." Apparently after this Craig is unimpressed and dares the shooter to shoot him. He gets shot and killed. Craig is said to be one of the first Crips to die violently. Just four month later in Feb. 1973 another Crip is killed. Tookie's best friend Curtis (Buddha) Morrow is tussling around with an OG's younger brother (I think he was 15 or 16 years old). The kid was angry because he thought Buddha had caused his small stereo to stop working. Buddha was laughing and said to him "well shoot me, shoot me!" The terrified kid got a gun, pointed it at Buddha, fired, and Buddha dropped forever. Thus Craig and Buddah two of the fiercest and most vicious Crips around were the first to die, and it was only months apart. In part I suspect their deadly reputations got them killed. Feared by so many and thinking of themselves as so bad-assed that no one dare attack them EVEN WITH A GUN they found out that they were wrong. As the brotha said at 0:25 "you don't ever want a scary muthufucka afraid of you." And so it was, Raymond and Tookie's original top henchmen didn't even live long enough to fight in a gang war, both getting killed in non gangsta situations daring and not believing someone would face and shoot them. There's a reason the gun is called "the equalizer." A well placed bullet will drop the meanest muthufuckas on earth! Thanx for and enjoyed the video.

Now, who lost his life in october 1972? There werent too many gang homicides at that time and those that took place have some notoriety,, so what homicide they are talking about? Fight or flight: Craig Craddock was a vicious bully who fucked with the wrong guy on the wrong damn day. The irony that Craig Craddock and Buddha, Raymond and Tookie's best friends, and two of the most savage members of the Crips at that time, were killed bullying people who were afraid of them. Speaking of Buddha, I remember reading Tookie's book and he said the guy who killed Buddha was AC"s brother. Was Tookie talking about AC Moses because I saw his interview where he said he used to run with the Crips? Is that why AC ended up joining the Bloods?
@bigbaba45423 жыл бұрын
