the thing about the west side and eastside thing is that "THE WEST SIDE WAS NOTHING BUT PEOPLE THAT MOVED FROM THE EAST SIDE! NO BLACKS WERE ACTUALLY BORN ON THE WESTSIDE AT THAT TIME. TO BE TRUTHFUL ABOUT IT IS THE PARENTS WHO WERE ABLE TO GET TO THE WESTSIDE FIRST WERE THE BEST HUSTLERS ON THE EASTSIDE! CAUSE EVERYBODY ON THE EASTSIDE WAS TRYING TO GET TO THE WESTSIDE. WE HAD TO BUILD OUR SETS CAUSE ALL THE HOODS WERE NEW! NOW HERES ONE MORE LITTLE TIDBIT. LISTEN. FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS COUNTRY THE MOVE HAS BEEN WEST BECAUSE THE ATLANTIC OCEAN WAS AT THEIR BACK. SO EVERY CITY THAT WAS FOUNDED STARTED WITH AN "EASTSIDE. THAT BECAME THE MOST HEAVILY POPULATED AND MORE CONCENTRATED PART OF A CITY. AND THIS SCENARIO REPEATED ITSELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN! THATS WHY EVERY AMERICAN CITY HAS AN "EASTSIDE AND THE EASTSIDE IS ALWAYS THE KIND OF LIKE POOREST CAUSE PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY MOVIN WEST LOKING FOR BETTER LIVING! THIS IS MY FRIENDS SITE. MY NAME IS HOMER

8:08. Every time there is a discussion of Raymond by anybody in the media this pic is shown. Besides Raymond do you know who the other guys are in the pic? Most websites that show these pics never list the other people in the pics. There is a standard pic of AC Moses in the early days, but I don't know who the other guys are, and he is still around and is quite active in this forum, he obviously would know. I wish you would include this feature of IDing to the extent you can the other guys dead or alive it doesn't matter. I assume most of the OGs you talk to could ID all these guys. We can always freeze the frame to read the names. So far, if there is a group of OGs only Raymond or Tookie is generally pointed out and no one else. I bet a few recognizable names can be pointed out in some of those pics. Many thanx for contributions.

Damn! StreetTV (A. Alonzo) you really came through with this one! The interesting part in this convo is at the end when he says "and Tookie and Raymond weren't BEST of friends" ...which is something that I've always kind of figured (Took had Buddha and Raymond had Craig) if both men had stayed on the street, more than likely they wouldn't have co-existed. Especially since Took (in his book) mentions the fact that he may have to go head up with Raymond at some point....almost as if he had a feeling it may come to that as well. Either way, great interview, bro. R.I.P. to all these brothas.

@@2Pkb25 I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying. I'm just speaking on the comments from the video. When you watch these interviews you have to take them with a grain of salt and piece certain things together. First off, all is not going to be said for the camera (nor SHOULD it be) and second of all, each person is speaking with some sort of emotional attachment to something. This is Craig Craddock's brother so of course he's going to speak highly on his brother's part in this. It doesn't mean he's lying... or that Raymond WASNT an organizer, it just means that he can tell you how it all went down from his own perspective (which was his and his brother's {Craig's}). Bottom line is that most with any real knowledge of this, are aware that Raymond kicked it off. And he didn't grow up on the westside so...

Bad not true relationship history of Raymond Washington.Raymond was a organizer He called meetings and set dates to attend functions. Craig was not the first crip to get murdered on the East side it was RIP.Big Chocolate.Raymond Washington and Rip Big Tookie were friends .Bulldog and Raymond Washington came up to Washington High school together not Craig to meet the smacks to become crips. East side and West side Crips always treated each other with respect from day one. Raymond organizated all crips He and Big Rip Tookie and other Crip Generals would meet up inside ST.Andrews park to. Discuss how and what time.we were going to take over the watts festival and watts stack concert. Bulldog, Raymond Washington, and myself OG Cutes helped in the back strees in our community Los Angeles to organize the long table.Pretty Boy RSC.had it right that other dude was just a driver and Craig s brother wasn't even known of until this video so slow down with the hipe Rip Craig was my friend cuzzin. His Brother was a non crip factors. it's a damn shame when two busters try to put a ten on a five. OG .Donoald. Archie and l laughed at this interview those two clowns can speak on only what took place inside their home not ours.l have now still have respect for E/S/C.And that part about the Avenues and Teddie.was a flat out exaggeration no true account of events. Reading Tookies autobiography really made me realize that black people have behaving like this long before millennials. All of these new little cats didn’t start this, the generation in this video is the generation to blame. In his book he’s describes everything that we now have given new names to, like “Flash mob robberies”, etc. they were doing that back in the 60’s Something is seriously wrong, in this community, and it has always been.

IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW! This is why we do the stupid shit we do. WE DON'T KNOW WHO WE ARE! Peep this. The curses in the Book of Deuteronomy let's us know who we are. No one else but us fits them. Deuteronomy 28 King James Version (KJV) 68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt (slavery) again with ships (WITH SHIPS), by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there (when you get off the ships) ye shall be sold unto your enemies (Your Enemies!!!) for bondmen (slave men) and bondwomen (slave women), and no man shall buy (save, redeem) you. 54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate (we were kind and loved each other), his eye shall be evil toward his brother (Crips and Blood, GD's and Vice Lords, BITCH ASS NIGGAS), and toward the wife of his bosom (Fuck Them Ho's) and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: (fatherless homes, Niggas Always Leave They Kids) 56 The tender and delicate woman among you (they used to be kind, loving, peaceful, and quite) which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom (Niggas Ain't Shit, I Don't Need No Man), and toward her son (You Gone Be Just Like Yo Ain't Shit Daddy), and toward her daughter (Fuck You Bitch), 64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood (the cross, christianity) and stone (kabah stone, Islam). 65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: 66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: 47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; 48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee (He sent them), in hunger (We get our food from them), and in thirst (water), and in nakedness (clothes), and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck (which they did in slavery), until he have destroyed thee (we are now mentally destroyed and don't know who we are). 49 The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth (from Europe and America), as swift as the eagle flieth (American eagle, the eagle has landed); a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; 50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: 44 He shall lend to thee (Banks), and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. OK, that should be enough. We are who we are. The Israelites, God's Chosen People. And no one else can claim it. Either we start obeying our Laws or our Father Yahawah will destroy our body first and then our soul forever.
