It seems like the evidence against Young Thug was already overwhelming and also Gunna doesn’t know what they know, other than they know a lot. He had no choice but to go along with what the Judge “afforded” him to say. You don’t sit in front of a judge and speak freely, it’s more like, the judge gives you an option A or B.
