My words and thoughts exactly. In real life though, women like her have such tendencies and expectations. Women who end their marriage as she did actually expect their ex-husbands to just remain single and pining for them, particularly when it's the husband that pleads and try to reason with her to keep the marriage going. From where she stands, SHE can move on with another man and live comfortably or very well off as he's supposed to just watch from a distance and be lonely and not excel past where she left him. Once he moves on with another woman and has become a bigger and better version of himself, she begins to get spiteful towards him and at times attempt to cause all sorts of havoc for attention or sympathy...goes to show that what she thought she'd get from the new man didn't pan out as well as she'd anticipated or she lost her justification for choosing to abruptly end her marriage.
