Another excellent video, great to see another mountain ride. Really enjoyed the drone footage. Did a different ascent/descent but second all the comments on Sgor Gaoith - a truly magical place to go biking. Glen Feshie/Feshiebridge are also stunning.

@@streetpigeonmtb London then Hong Kong and US, now retired in Sussex. Usually spend a couple of weeks every year (May and September) riding in Scotland and follow people like you and McTrailrider to research routes. Really useful.

@@streetpigeonmtb the new rig is awesome, rides like a proper beast, especially with the 170 up front. It’s lifted the front end up real nicely. Still suffering a bit with a bad neck though, so looking for a different bar set up. Gunna have to go narrower, back sweep, and a slight rise, just to bring my head up whilst in the pedalling position.

I'd totally recommend that descent we did. It's a bit more of an effort to get to but it truly is an incredible piece of descending. The views are 🙌

We go every year to the French and Italian Alps and what a place .....dont get me wrong you dont get better trails than say the Golfie but you get some huge descents and crazy steepness. Dont fall into the trap of going to Morzine because it's not really that good but le plenny with it's off piste is pure world class terror!

Nice video. Highlands are stunning and that view East across the Cairngorm plateau in particular. Interested to know what youd think the route clockwise would be like. Would it be easier to go up the zig zags (hikeabike) and down the other side. Great vlogs - keep posting.

I think the same route clockwise wouldn't be much fun. I feel like the climb could be more difficult and the descent a lot less fun. It's so difficult to say though. I guess the only way to find out is to go and try them all!

It's some place. I honestly felt pretty emotional at the summit. It was so calm and the drop to the Loch gave an amazing sense of depth. Scotland is stunning at times 😍

Yeah, I saw your vid. I don't regret the 29er comments. I wouldn't ride anything else in the hills. I have nothing against 650bs though. For me they really come alive on the tight and twisty forest trails 😁
