I was #3 WW when I did this at my score here and #1 was only a bit higher. If I didn't use those specials, would have been 2000 more tipping me over, bet you could push #1 bud WW with some more practice. No doubt a wizard will come by soon though and triple the current #1 xD

For those who really suck like me, just use Skate at the Skytrain stage on Easy and spam offensive special. You're invincible for that second and hit enemies regularly every once in a while to regain your health. At the boss, just hit the 2 boxes for health items and the 3rd for a star. Easy peezy

For those who have the DLC i found Shiva, using a lot of his 2nd moves made things pretty easy, mostly because his forward special could send a shadow clone attacking one direction so you could attack the other for when guys managed to surround you

there’s an easier way to do this, surprisingly it’s not uploaded anywhere (start a stage with 2 players, turn friendly hit on kill the other player and just finish the stage with 1 player and the dead player will get it automatically) hope this helps also easy way to get S rank on hard mode

Extra tip, hit retry at the start of the level and get yourself those extra stars to use on the boss. You won't get the S rating but makes it easier.

Actual best way: - Pick Shiva (SOR3) - Pick Easy Mode - Go to Stage 3 (because it has the easiest boss and is pretty short) - Spam Blitz attack Did it on my first try. Stage 1 is kinda long and the boss isn’t that easy. Stage 3 and 7 are probably the shortest.

I found this hard to get. Just done it. I used floyd and did exactly what you did, and I had my 6 year old son as player 2 and he was super aggressive to cover for me just basically hiding and using defence special. When things got hairy we both used our star moves.

Floyd is a good choice for this but I found SOR2 Max to be the much better option. With Max I absolutely destroyed everything , including both the mini boss & stage boss by just spamming his "unga" special with no need to worry about defense or use any stars. While Floyd's defensive special is great, I found myself accidentally using his forward grab special numerous times which leaves him open to be hit. Both of Max's specials on the other hand make him invincible, do big damage and recover super quickly, allowing you to spam both without having to worry.

@@Optinooby I'm sure for more skilled players than myself, Floyd is perfectly adequate but for average & below skilled players or just players who want the easiest possible strategy I definitely recommend SOR2 Max & spamming his "unga" forward special. It allows you to be a lot more mobile, aggressively going after groups of enemies at a time without worrying about being countered because of its invincibility against all attacks (including stage boss) & lightning fast recovery. It also works equally well for escaping out of danger. Certainly the way to go If you prefer a more aggressive approach & don't mind "cheesing" it big time

Easiest way is SoR3 skate on easy, skyline train level. You can pretty much spam his offensive special the entire time which makes him invincible so can also use it to avoid those things you have to jump over. Did it first try.

Almost did it on my first try. Got all the way to the boss, went to do my sphere special and accidentally hit the directional button with it and he did his grab instead, which didn't connect, and she zapped me 🤦‍♂️😡

Don't worry, I gave up after like 15 tries and I even got the S rank on this stage....I can make it perfect up to the final boss and there's no way she won't hit me....and I even tried Floyd's cheap endless combo which just doesn't work for me for some reason.

I achieved this with Floyd on Easy at Level 3 (Cargo Ship) spamming defensive special and using his long range punches to recover health. The star specials were saved for the boss Nora.

The easiest way to get the Perfect Trophy is using the last version of character Skate on the Train top level. His special does multiple punches and moves forward. This level is the shortest level and this is by far the easiest way to unlock this trophy. Period.

The Trophy's criteria is a bit misleading, you're supposed to take no hit, not no damage. Grab breaks and throw recovery will make you fail, it's considered a hit even though you take no damage.

@@Optinooby Windows 10, 8 and 7 Sorry i don't mean to brag. The solution is in windows settings: Go to Start. Select Control Panel Open Hardware & Sound. Choose Sound. Choose Recording. Find the Microphone bar. Right-click on the Microphone bar, and then select Properties. Find the Levels tab, and look for the Microphone Boost tool. Move the dial all the way down on the Microphone boost. Move the dial all the way up on the Microphone. Next, go to the tab marked Enhancements. If they aren't already ticked, tick the following boxes: Noise suppression and Acoustic echo cancellation. Press OK. Cheers :)

It goes down when you use a special m8, but doesnt void trophy. Only dmg from enemy voids the trophy, trophy pops at the end ;)

What you're seeing is the recoverable health when you use a special it takes a little health but if you attack you can recover it

This should be easy however my character will randomly throw his offensive attack rather than defensive and so far this has got me hit over 10 times. This happened on boss twice. Thought it was my controller so i used my new one but no same problem wtf is this issue? Losing my will to live here when it comes down to complete RNG whether my character will cooperate with my commands. For the record, i have even tried spamming defensive with only finger on y and after about 15 defensive attacks or so an offensive will be thrown... i genuinly don't understand this shit.

So can we get hit, replenish our health to Max (with a pick-up) and still get the Perfect Trophy OR if we get hit at-all it's a Fail, regardless if we replenish our health or not !?!? Those Dweebs with Knives have Always had Knives throughout the Streets of Rage series of games, they've always looked and moved pretty much the same as well, little Dweebs can get annoying sometimes when they catch you out !! lol Spamming the Defense Special does work but it's extremely monotonous and in my opinion it's a sort-of cheat and doesn't feel like we've actually earned or deserve the Trophy !! Before just resorting to doing this method, I feel that People should try to get the Trophy by playing and fighting better, then, if you still can't manage to beat it and earn the Trophy.....Only then should people resort to this method.....It's a lot better to earn it than take this easy route !! Disclaimer : This is not a dig at the creator or founder of this video or method, there's no malice here at-all, it's an easy and simple method that someone's found that works and if someone chooses to go this route then that's up to them.....I'm merely saying my thoughts and opinions......I fully appreciate that we all have our own ways to play, thoughts and morals and as far as I'm concerned 'Each to their Own'.....I just feel that people should learn to play the games better before using methods like this !!

You can't take any dmg, the health reduction from specials is the exception. Yea I know m8, its not for every1, just an easy'ish way to get it for anybody that wants to use it. You the player decides what you wanna do about it ;) Yea, I know of the dweeb, it has a sharpish, long running history in SOR lore, basically cannon fodder. At least you can take satisfaction that there is no way to cheese S Rank hard, all Arcade hard, I still have to do all that actually

Funny enough, I gave it a whirl with Cherry and it was a ton of fun! Then I played it on hard and got my OUT OF THIS WORLD combo out of it by chaining the entire first part together until roughly around the time a car rams into the wall, using pretty much the same tactics (though with much more punching involved, I'm not scared of every guy that pops up xD).
