It's actually amazing to me that there are actual fanmade games for SOR, and to know that people put in effort to make them in the first place. It goes to show me that the SOR fandom is still alive and there are folks out there that still love the games. The fanbase may not be as massive as other well-known video games, but the fact that there is fanbase for it in general, however small it may be, is still enough for me. ☺

I had to use a program to generate generic character images, and then I manually edited them in Gimp and Krita to correct errors and add new characteristics and details."

Do you mean how to create a sor maker mod? In a simple way you can edit the prototype mod which is included with sor remake. Just open the 'SoRMaker.exe', select the prototype and start editing the first level. This is the basic.
