@@DocDoesGamingTV I don't tend to mind older runs. I've been around since like A12 or so, and I have a pretty good memory of what changed when. = ) I'll probably watch the new one first though. Playing without caravans seems crazy to me now. Such a shame there won't be anymore updates to the game, but modding is pretty high quality so it kinda makes up for it I guess.

Probably won't see this, but you should check out the Loadout machine more often. Works better on certain characters (Soldier can always pick up some extra nades/another helmet) and less on others (Shapeshifter), but it offers guarantee buys for a decent price. Also Clone machine allows for cloning items (1.5 cost of item tho), which is killer for super useful consumable/durability items. Love the series btw :)

Egg, smashing computers disable all cams and turrets. Also, if you like aggression AND stealth, get the assassin. Dude can do punches for 50 damage on the first floor. Completing your big quest gives you a HUGE benefit on the final floor. You can skip all difficult stuff on the last floor by being electable. If you taint water with a regen syringe in the park, it gives you a lot of free heals. Don't be afraid to limit your pools. Not doing it can make your level up perks potentially useless for the wrong character (i.e. all melee stuff for the doctor). Rub your Tomo for luck, and keep at it.

There's no reason, with custom classes, mutators (especially the random levels), and unlocking the big quest supers abilities that this couldn't be entertaining for several hundred at least. Every floor, every run, every mission has huge variability.

Hey NL! Just a tip for all the characters that can use healing items (so not the vampire/cannibal). Early on, meaning the slums, construction area, and early park, you really want to stack up as many healing items as possible while alerting as few people as you can about it to conserve health. This means check all the garbages, and every fridge you possibly can. Talk to the bartenders and shopkeeper always, and if you can safely kill a bunch of slum dwellers early on, they can drop beer/whiskey which are both good healing items. Also, (and this is why you want to keep stacking healing items until the early park) once you get into the park, if you have a cigarette lighter, you really want to use it on the barbecues and cook all the FUD you have, as it turns it from a 5 hp heal, to a 15 hp heal.

I won’t lie, the traps in streets of rogue are the only traps I can forgive if you get caught/die to one. There is so much to keep track of in this game, your vision gets tunneled and it catches you off guard. I love this series NL.

He absolutely could. None of them are particularly difficult either, besides the banker (who is super tough) and the comedian (similar, but _VERY_ RNG dependant). Game is harder and longer than Isaac though, and there's mutators as opposed to challenges. I'm not sure NL is gonna bother reading the list to see how much they improve the game.

the slum dweller begins as a stealth character basically and end up a powerhouse due to getting stats every 2 levels and increased amount of skills, you really want to loot all the safes and chests for the exp and you can sell the stuff to the sell-o-matic for extra money to complete big quest. as a extra bonus you get more exp if you can complete a quest without killing someone, and even more if you can do it without alerting anyone. so stealth give HUGE sums of exp early.

Yay so early, I was about to cancel work tomorrow just so I can be up till midnight to watch another episode, and btw if you destroy a Computer the security system turns off so no pressure plates etc are active, and the cigarettes do work, they stop the feeling alright effect from running out as long as the nicotine effect is active

Cigarettes do work towards the withdrawals, instead of refreshing the countdown it simply staves it off, so if you are at 30 seconds of "feeling alright" and take a smoke, it will stay at 30 seconds for as long as the cigarette status effect lasts.

Let's try this again Yeah, that's about what I was thinking. I never got very far when I played as him, but I didn't want to come right out and say it in case I forgot a character. Really, I'm struggling to think of a character that comes anywhere close. Slum dweller comes close if you take his big quest into account, but that's about it. Actually, thief can get pretty bad since businesses being hostile is freaking awful if you dont have any window or wall breaking tools
