1 thing I appreciate about your videos is the simplification using patterns... here, using "-ia", "-iamos" & "-iam" as suffixes attached to infinitives, in most cases... isso e bom saber!

I am still missing how a distinction is made between would and could if they are constructed the same by adding to the infinitive. Sometimes I want to say would instead of could and I don't see how it can always be clear based solely on context. Would and could have very different meanings.

In Portuguese we use the conditional tense to express Would. For example: I would go = Eu iria. I would travel = Eu viajaria. I would like like = Eu gostaria. We use the conditional tense of the verb Poder to express Could. Ex: I could help. = Eu poderia ajudar. Could you help? = Você poderia ajudar? Could you explain this? = Você poderia explicar isso? Eu sempre me pergunto porque professores de português para estrangeiros não ensinam ou mesmo não apresentam a seus alunos o pronome Tu , como se esse pronome estivesse em desuso. na verdade esse pronome é usado no sul do Brasil gaúchos paranaenses,no nordeste . e norte.

Por que não apresentar todos os pronomes do caso reto: Eu, tu, ele, nós, vós, eles. Além dos pronomes de tratamento: você, vocês etc e suas peculiaridades?????? Alguns pronomes podem não ser usados em algumas regiões, mas são em outras, como o pronome TU e Vós, muito usados na região sul, embora pouco usados na região sudeste, onde se usa mais Você e Vocês.

I apologize for the confusion. Can I translate this sentence "Eu ia querer me mudar" as "I should move out"? I have problems with understanding the conditional tense in Portuguese and in Spanish also. Thank you for your response.

I should move out = Eu devia me mudar. Or: Eu deveria me mudar.

It means "I would want to move out", so it has a different meaning from "I should..."
