It won’t last at these power levels. Mine didn’t last 5,000 miles on 9psi of boost, 3.875 pulley. Had my whipple put on at 1,024 miles. Cats plugged and blew the engine at 5,403. That happened in December of last year, finally got fixed and got it back March 8th of this year. Also the warranty is under ford performance which only covers $11,500 TOTAL before the warranty is considered “fulfilled” and ends. Something to think about before you sink some coin into one of these. $7,500 for the engine and the rest is for other parts like the transmission, rear end and transfer case for 4wd F150 trucks.

And that's what I don't understand about Ford. Here you have just a regular GT with a bolt on supercharger making 800 wheel, but the GT500 that they talked about for 2 years that was out the same time as the Demon only makes 760 to the crank which probably over 100hp less than what this car just made. Not to mention the GT500 cost about 100k. It just shows how easily Ford could have built the GT500 to have more HP than the Demon without even using race fuel. I don't understand why they let Dodge keep the HP crown. And after watching this I can't see why anyone would want a GT500.

Should wrap the car in a British racing green, Candy apple red with 2 wxhite off set racing stripes, Metallic Slate or Charcoal .. or lastly a dark metallic navy or royal blue with 2 white or dark grey off set/center (one thick one thin) racing stripes ! The car would look absolutely sick and ridiculous clean compared to the yellow it is currently. That Whipple upgrade definitely makes the car a lot better all around esp with the rest of the stuff they did to it. 780 whp is insane with what is minimally done to it.

Using whipples limited access programming does not make these guys tuners. Hardly any maps are enabled for tuning with the whipple tomahawk. That’s why they couldn’t even rev it to 8krpm.

Stage 2 0 warranty. So the HP will be lower on the warranty kit. I had to go E85 for numbers like that on my Gen 2.

The catalytic converters are going to melt at this power level. Palm Beach Dyno built my car (I'm local), mine makes 800hp too. I have Long Tubes and no cats but on a large pulley (safe 11-12psi). I'm also on a Fore Innovations E85 fuel system. No way in hell I'm running 800hp wheel on a 12.0:1 compression motor on crap pump gas.

You can buy a new 2024 GT 5.0 with a 10-speed automatic transmission for approximately $47,000. Adding a stage 2 supercharger with a tune can boost it to around 800 hp, making it a great value at around $60,000 overall. This option offers exceptional performance. @@richardmorris7063With the refinements to the 10r80 I would say it will last a good long while as long as you don’t do too many back to back drag races and slip that stock converter. Over 800 wheel it’s not going to survive long. The MT-82 is darn sure not going to last any longer, however they claim they updated parts of it for 2024. Minimum needs a new clutch to last long. Don’t expect either to last much past 100k miles if you drive it hard at that power level.
