alyas hakimi precision boxing is the best channel for boxing in general and fight tips is best for MMA, muay thai, boxing (with adaptions to mma and muay thai) and some BJJ. However, if you are looking just for boxing, this channel has the upper hand.

I'm HORRIBLE in flexibility and I just came to your channel to see if you have a stretching routine video, and YOU DON’T! I think it could be a nice addition. Consider hot vinyasa yoga flow for your stretching and flexibility. People think it's easy and for girls but trust me its very very challenging. I've seen guys walk in and were humbled or not hack the heat or mental/ physical challenge and walk out after 30 minutes. I've been doing it for years. I can suggest 'flow with adee' YT channel'. Alternatively, gymnastic strength and animal flow training are very good too. I can recommend Vavha fitness YT channel.

In summary, Warm up dynamically Isometric holds to activate the muscle groups. Some body weight exercises to build base strength (Pull ups, Dips, Push ups, Squats etc.) Key is the 8-12 reps. For strength, We can train to failure, for Power, we maintain the explosiveness throughout the exercises. Thank you both Sirs!

It's really nice to see you put some focus on strength training. Many boxers i know and talked to have this idea that strength training is going to make them less powerful and slow for unfathomable some reason. I work as a trainer, and a few athletes from boxing background have actually refused to strength train, and just want to do the mit work and endless crunches.

nijowe93 Because muscle needs oxygen and late in the fight you don't want to gas out and lose because your opponent has less muscle and more cardio. Any boxer that's ever done more than 4 rounds of sparring knows that weights hurt you more than help you. Most knockouts in low level competition come because of fatigue. A fighter can get up and beat the count but they are so tired they decide to call it quits. Trust me late in a fight you want to have a cardio advantage more than a slight power advantage.

EE-Any form of resistance training creates a certain amount of mussel. More for some less for others. Even as a 53 year old, I develop mussel very easily. I find, swimming and dancing with reduced carbs (in normal foods) help produce more of a purposed and flexible build, with less mussel but still with strength.

That warm-up seemed a bit long. I like Jack LaLanne's view on warming up. Look it up. I don't think it's a good idea to slam the joints when reaching the extended position of any lift while under resistance. The trainee in this video does that with dips and overhead presses. I believe that should be avoided. Jumping squats are an excellent recommendation but too much weight on the back should be avoided when jumping. It increases risk of back injury. The force when landing can suddenly spike to be far greater than the actual dead weight. Better to progress with dumbbells so the weight isn't directly above the spine. I like the core/oblique workout with the bands. I'm going to try that. The sledge work is great. I think the shock at impact also strengths the wrists which will transfer over to harder punches.
