These days I only do boxing for cardio. I train everthing orthodox and southpaw to avoid imbalances. It actually added to my boxing game now I'm used to both stances.

This was superb, I’m not a boxer but do have shoulder problems. Try to follow boxing type training as it’s obvious they are some of the fittest sportsmen around . Do my own cardio at 3 minutes on 1 minute off 12 rounds 4 times per week got great results in fat loss and fitness. Subscribed and liked half way into the video .👍

I have found that is correlated and not causation. What I mean by that is when you have big shoulders they are big because you're lifting weights. You never box as well the day after lifting weights. If you take off 3 days from any weights your punches flow so much faster and easier.

Hitting the heavy bag properly will give you the wide shoulders. There is no other exercise that will do so. Hit the heavy bag 3 times a week. 8 round sessions and you’re good!

All your information is correct but the easiest way to correct imbalances is to do inverted rows. You can vary widths to emphasize different areas of your back. Also hanging from the pull-up bar is great for grip strength and stretching the shoulder. Anther great but largely neglected exercise is the dumbbell pullover. It really stretches the lats and corrects that anterior overuse. All the old time bodybuilders did it and never had shoulder mobility problems.
