Yes I understand upper and or lower body strength can improve strikes but our Shihan Sensei is 80 yrs old and without any upper or lower body strength, he is able to out play all who try. His speed and timing are unmatched. You can work out , do any strength building all you want but timing will beat you. And this only comes from years and years of practice.
