I always enjoy seeing/hearing/experience Marcus speaking. Really engaging, very enjoyable. One line from this presentation I especially liked was "if you study the inverse of bad you get...not bad" Appreciate the recommendations from other posters/comments for further research/resources!

I liked Jenifer Fox's book, too. She is so insightful with how to deal with kids. We spend so much time dwelling on how they do things wrong. Jenifer wants us to help them work on what they do right. Makes so much sense! You must read YOUR CHILD'S STRENGTHS.

ok I get this - some of these speakers have some very interesting points yes, ...but man are they clever about sustaining a career for themselves!! It's all about business. Yes, some are multimillionaires - and have something to share - fine. Again.. but it's like some of these guys point out an issue which realy isn't that big of a deal and everyone goes, 'WOW oh yeah - I do that! man this guy is great! Look - we should encorage children, but don't ingore their weaknesses either.

it's not about ignoring weaknesses, it's about the overwhelming focus on the negative when trying to achieve the positive.
