I think Repressed emotions give us problems. I finally told my judgmental..ungrateful..disrespectful son what he did and does to me. I do feel better.

Knocking on wood for your 11 year pain free stint. 2 years (over 12 years since I found HBP) is my record I think. When it flares it's often because I've completely let my TMS practices lapse. When I'm in pain it's like I've been in pain forever, but when I'm not I completely forget about it...until I am, and so on. Your daily videos are helping me stay on top of it and make TMS awareness a daily practice. So thank you again.

Awesome Dan. Just know you are well and IF it hits, respond calmly and reassure yourself it's very temporary.

Dan by the law of attraction you have come into my life a week ago. You speak to my heart. Listen to you at least twice a day. Thank you for the truth and wisdom. Today especially, we need 10 million Dan's. I share them all and everyone agrees. Thank brother and we love you, Bill Morgan.

There are plenty of people out there who go through stress and have alot of emotions connected still dont have any kind of pain, I think anxiety is main culprit which creates this. Thats why I admire your work than sarno's theory of repressed emotions.

Yep - stress is normal. Chronic pain does not have to go along with it once you know these concepts.

Thank you for this. I have a 19-year-old nonverbal daughter who we have had no services for because of covid. Just recently I had a flare up of my TMs that lasted almost a month. I think it is passed now but I was getting a little worried there for a while. It's not the physical care for my daughter that is stressful but it is the thoughts I create about it and then attempt to repress. Mindfulness helps a lot and videos like this. Thank you for reminding us that no matter what your circumstances are you don't have to live in pain

Super helpful! On this journey, I've recently had the thought - the well of emotions can be so big with all that's happening in the world / my life, I cannot imagine if that's the main culprit, how I can ever get over this. This video was the perfect message at the perfect time. "You can be a perfectionist in this crazy messed up world and still get better." 6 months of journaling helped me immensely, but I think it took me as far as it could. This is the next part. Amazing. Hallelujah! Thanks so much Dan!

Thank you Dan. I' ve watched "After Life" too, and felt exactly like you did..... It made me cry. I guess that for me it was a reminder of how fragile life can be, and yet we must cope and go on. It was really moving for me. I saw myself in the husband who was strugglling with grief. Thank G-d, I haven't lost anyone, but I feel that I lost something within me, thus the grief. And it is ok to grief.......

This is a inspirational video: but stress does give me pain, muscles tension so bad it hurts. But for what i’ve always read is that : that is common when one is under stress. Fysiologic reaction And you mention others with chronic ungoing stress.. so how to live with stress without that reaction psysical?

While your experience IS that stress has caused pain, we can break that connection. Yes, stress may make your shoulders tense and tight, but it doesn't have to cause chronic pain. How to do it? Implement ALL the concepts I share. they are summarized in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaetmHWkp815qpo

That's EXACTLY what i was talking about!!!! there was the 'TMS brain' that says emotions = PAIN!!!!! thanks for telling me that they don't have to, that THAT was the belief i need to get rid of! Also, another Dr Sarno curse is upon me... ie. 'TMS is more painful than normal pain'.... i'm getting worse!!!!
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 3 жыл бұрын
I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but the less attention and fear we give the pain, the faster it goes away or lessens. That's why indifference works so well. The summary video is here. Take notes and implement ALL the concepts. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaetmHWkp815qpo

I hate that statement it is what it is! 🤪 but I’m trying to disconnect. This morning I got up early got busy and had a moment of “thing suck I want to be better now !” I hate these palpitations they trigger all this shiza so I’m trying to keep going.

Yep. This one was all about me. I appreciate what you do for us every single day. Thank you. Finish that book so I can buy it and start sending it to people. LOL (I am learning that I am very codependent and I am the rescuer. Recently, I’ve been struggling with why won’t people listen to me when I talk about this method. It is so frustrating when people will not let me control them. ;-))

Hey Dan, thanks for the video,. As I have shared before, I am convinced that I have TMS. My pain has reduced considerably however, the pain is not gone yet. It has actually gone down to zero for a couple of days, but it keeps returning. For me, it seems to come when I do anything physical such as, stacking some firewood or shoveling some dirt from here to there etc. I don’t mind doing these things. What frustrates me is that the pain keeps returning. One of the TMS suggestions is to return to our normal activity which includes normal exercise. Not sure how to get past this?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 3 жыл бұрын
That's how recovery goes. Up, down, zig, zag. The key is to NOT get pissed off that it comes back. Keep doing what you did to get rid of it in the first place. Indifference sends a great message to the brain. Here are all my suggestions: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaetmHWkp815qpo
