Thanks for the great job you've done! I'm wondering if we can remove the middle consonant when three or even four consonants stand together? I find it quite difficult to speak fluently. For example: 'he asked me' sounds like 'he ask me', doesn't it?

+Qifan Wu Allow me to answer please. You're right, "are" isn't an auxiliary verb here, but still, it carries a meaning that is very easy to be assumed, thus it is de-stressed. Thanks.
