What a delightful dinner. We're having our son and daughter-in-law, their god daughter and family over for Christmas Eve festivities. Our activity is making lefse which we did with her a month ago. She's almost two and is the center of attention. I'm making lasagna, preparing roast vegetables and a gingerbread cake the day before. I'll prepare the lefse dough today minus the flour. More decorating today too. My mom used to make lasagna for Christmas so it's done in loving memory of her. I'm so very glad I've found your channel. 🎄

It just occurred to me how much work you do in sharing your final product. For instance, lighting the blue candles on your centerpiece. I often wonder if the food you make for us is still warm when you sit down to eat with your husband. The logistics boggle my mind and you make it seem so effortless. I know it’s not. My Wedgwood Pattern Windermere China from England little soup bowls have handles just like yours, and were my "find of the year" service for (12), that reminds me of you when I set our table! Also found Silver Wine holders (2), for our wine to sit upon, like yours! Still searching for the silver sugar cube bowl! You inspire me to be thrifty and elegant, so I have an album called Thrifty & Thrilled for my finds! Danish Candles are absolutely fantastic! They sell more candles and use more candles than anywhere else in the world, I believe! What a beautiful shop you buy the candles! The wooden tray you had made this year looks beautiful! Your china on the table look beautiful & chocolate grand finale is superb! I dice the mushroom stems and throw them into my meatloaf mixture for added flavor and texture! Saving them for veg-stock is also a great idea! When you nod your head and Smile after tasting, it makes me happy too! I've yet to see you taste something and go meh not good! LOL.
