Conclusion. Meditation one of the meaning is "mindfulness/attentiveness". It doesn't means your mind should STOP thinking. Meditation is about 1.visualisation & 2.feeling of 1.Bliss 2.Awairness 3.stability. Big barrier in meditation is not finding time to do it. But meditation itself creates time n improves life. SCHEDULE It should be 1st thing you should be doing in morning n In afternoon to hit the peak of the productivity n creativity. Inhale thru nostrils for 2 (visualise "LET" , Exhale thru mouth for 4 (visualize "GO"). Advantages 1. It deeply heels body 5x better than average sleep 2.it bridges both sides of brain enabling more problem solving , neuroplasticity 3. Reduces age of body 8 to 15 yrs.

Jim, I apprieciate your ablility to go from "broken brain" to breaking barriers, I've always felt inadaquete and your story brings in show much light and possibility in my future with your help of learning to learn, I am excited for my journey, and I am thankful for yours. Also completely off topic, you have such a unique voice, at times it made me crack up listening to the audiobook, you have a soft voice when speaking from the end of your mouth but any words that are pronouced from the back has a deep tone to it. Its like you have an acoustic theater in your mouth, very unique and captivating.

Just got my audio book. I feel like I missing something so I will get the hard copy as well. I’m excited! I had to come back in and edit my comment, because along with my audiobook, there is a PDF file that I didn’t realize was there. This is a big help. I’m extra excited now.

I have an incredible ringing in my ear that makes it hard enough to sleep when Im tired, i've never been able to meditate for more than a few minutes because of it. Should I be able to tune this out or is it typically a show stopper?

Leave it to KZbin to interrupt with several ads including during a calming breathing exercise. Jim Kwik it would be so helpful as well to have more consistency with volume. I could hardly hear this.

Stress bad, I'm totally with you. Starting to lose my trust when she's talking about alkaline thoughts! I'm looking for science, not pseudo-science. I hope there's enough science in here. I'm still listening with an open mind. Illusion of control? I thought the whole point was taking charge and making your life better?

The last statement she makes ruins the credibility and believability of all the ones before it. I noticed Jim, who's pretty believable, likes to feature "experts" who are always making grand claims and selling something.
@RD-fm2wk4 жыл бұрын
This is an utterly shallow and disappointing interpretation of meditation. Its like modern day yoga - the practice in the West has been stripped of the core purpose - its about understanding your conscious experience, removing the duality not about making more money or living your life with less guilt, it shouldnt be effortless, like exercise shouldnt be effortless otherwise you're doing it wrong.

I thought there would be an actual method but I see only marketing bullshit. Come on, stop doing that.
