@@m.a.g.3920 I agree. it's totally different.. these beings can't be object oriented like land mammals, or very object oriented like humans. it's just water... follow the food. sing to your heart's content. We go into sensory deprivation tanks to be more like them, sort of, but I bet they can sense the environment so that it's so much more alive. their low frequency sounds go 10,000 miles in certain waters and depths AND it goes almost a kilometer per second... I don't think I can conceive how different it is, but just a little.

Sometimes i wonder, if they are feeling so lonely, burdened by their weight, wishes to be fast roaming, wishes to see whats outside the ocean. I've heard whales and dolphins are very brilliant beings. So they might have the idea of how mysterious the outside world would be like, unlike other water animals. I wonder if they are singing or crying.

My 5 year nephew is on the spectrum and has never known anything about mammals but he has a toy whale and just loves everything about them. He mimics these sounds of this magnificent creature that he has never known before.

When I was a child my early memories are floating on the ocean with the sunsetting & a large mother whale swam below me. It brought me comfort as these dreams were how I coped with abusive parents. Whales are very healing in my opinion & especially for children :')

It's so other worldly to listen to whale song. I can't tell if she's singing or crying but I almost every time feel that pain in her voice as if she needs saving, As if she's so lonely in this huge Ocean. I watched Patrick and the Whale tonight on the Nature series on PBS - highly recommended! He begins diving with several whale species and learns their completely different characteristics and vocalizations. I believe these are all humpbacks which he calls “the singers”. Ultimately, his favorites become the sperm whales with whom he develops surprising relationships.

How far into land can you hear a whale sound? Because when I lived in tampa Florida... I heard the same exact sound and it sounded like it was coming from the sky all around me. I was kind of scared because I never heard something like that before and I was thinking of the trumpets of the Apocalypse. It does sound like a trumpet.

This reaches into our limbic system and lowers cortisol. The limbic system is involved in memory. I personally believe this should be played to early onset alzheimer patients to see what effect it has on them. Sound has a powerful affect. Just think how awesome whale song therapy could be if studies show it has a positive net affect. All that I can say for sure is that I was stressed out badly today, put this on and I can feel it lowering my blood pressure, calming my nervous system and allowing my brain to rest.

Like i trust the humpbacks more partly just because they might be between hump backs talking or blue whales talking to like the government and shit i feel like humpbacks are closer to ourselves you know, but i got hope for sperm whales to keep off whales better for having such big brains.. humpbacks need protection though mooore. I really want boat but for different reasons i wonder what I'd do if i came up on them or something.
