You have learned a lot & the results speak for themselves. Your yard looks great. We have had very similar weather in northern Georgia & my yard has began to shut down in this heat. It’s not growing, & I’m having some traditionally weak areas starting to brown. I’ve been watering more frequently but will definitely invest in 4-play for next season. Thanks for sharing. Heat is backed off today but it was HOT. I watered 3 time in 5 days. "Deep and Infrequent" get's thrown out at that point.

Here in southern oklahoma my fescue is absolutely struggling it’s green, but over 100’s for weeks now it’s absolutely terrible i’m trying to keep it going.. water every morning for an hour sometimes during the day it’s so hot and dries out so damn fast. No shade nothing but pure🫤 heat.. i’m even stressing over it. I don’t wanna lose it Thanks for the tips..🤙

I want to purchase some Fourplay, but have plenty of hydretain still. Maybe next summer it will be ready. Your lawn is looking 🔥 still. I’ve cranked out more water the last 2 weeks so mine is coming around also….and my thermostat hasn’t left 69 since June 😂

looking good! I did just gave up. In SE KS we are over 13" behind again this year in rain with temps 104 and heat index of 110 to 115. I've put a little water down to try and keep the roots alive. I just can't do the heavy watering like last year. $250 plus water bills is just to much for me. Plus they adjust other things by how much water you use. Sucks but.......

Careful with the water usage. I wish people wouldn’t worry as much about green when we need to save water. It’ll come back in the fall….

I can give you many reasons, but my main one is that when you allow your grass to go brown and dormant, warm season weeds and grass fill the void. Then you not only have to hope your grass does come back, but now you have to fight that new issue. It’s not so much about green, it’s about surviving. More that survives, less money for new seed. As I said, many reasons, and the earth has an abundance of water so it will be just fine.

Got my summer soil test back and I'm good on everything, high-good on micronutrients. Feel like I need to throw down something (because we're nuts) but don't "need" anything added. HOWEVER, Hydretain (one of the FourPlay elements) is fine to use, and might help some weak spots. TL;DR Thanks for the reminder with this video! Stay cool.

Not so much really. It’s useful at times and you get use to seeing how much product comes out on each setting. Lawn care but has good video on using it too
