Love videos where you show the stressful side of Cyber Security. It gives the whole picture of what those who enter this field can expect. Great video!

Hey there 👋🏾 I’m relatively new to your channel and I love your videos. I’m scheduled to take security+ this weekend and I was wondering what’s a good reference for a roadmap to get into to being a cybersecurity analyst.

Howdy, I am considering a career change into the cyber security field and I’m struggling to start. I work full time 5 days a week, but I’m not sure if I can learn at my own pace because I have no knowledge in this. Do you know if I can take a course at my own pace? Please and thank you

I heard course careers is a good self pace program. Very affordable also compared to other bootcamps

As a cybersecurity analyst can you have workdays that are more basic, where you just analyze data and run different programs? Im a bit worried if i would do a bad job in situations where you work more with commands or coding with your colleagues, its difficult for me to even understand how to secure systems in this way. Learning how to run different types of scans and analyze what goes through is more the level i can understand right now.

I think a CS degree makes a great foundation for ML/AI, which is a field that will likely require you to get an advanced degree anyway, many of the AI/ML roles out there will require a PhD so i dont think your undergrad major will make too big of an impact at that point, but one thing to note is that CS majors usually have a more worked out curriculum compared to machine learning/data science majors that are likely new programs for universities and may take a few semesters/iterations to perfect the curriculum. Good luck with whatever your decision is and keep us updated!

If you are getting your information about a possible career from this person, you will be left on the outside and in no shape to actually compete for jobs. Please watch real professionals in the field to get a real understanding of the daily work and the difficulty level. This is a joke and not real security work. If you just like the cute cats and the laid back, lazy, I do nothing all day vibe, you ARE NOT fit for it.
