Awesome stuff! Called "Super Cropping"...just subbed and found your channel! Thank you sir!

ive been supercropping since this year and its amazing to keep your plant growing wider in stead of just upwards. I use it in my indoor tent, since the height i got indoors is limited, i use this to use up as much space i can

On the subjects of LST and flowering... I currently grow outdoor, and have used multiple forms of LST (low stress training) on my plant's. Stressing the roots for several years now with quite measurable success. Air prune is one method. Those fabric pots are legit in my experience vs. plastic or clay. I currently grow in ground so have now experimented with raking the root surface during the flower phase for the same effect you've mentioned. The plant knows it's root zone is being disturbed, & the basic reaction is to produce the finest looking fruits and most expressive scents in order to attract more and more pollinators, all for ensuring it's own offspring. I previously worked at an organic farm in Nevada, & the tomatoes were planted on the top of (the crests vs the trough) their long rows of dirt. Access to the root zone was the primary purpose. While more direct fertilization of the rhizosphere was one of the benefits, mechanically pruning the roots was a new methodology for me to learn. The root zone on each side of every plant was literally shoveled into when the 1st flowers began to show. This was then repeated and the soil now turned over (tap root avoided) once the 1st small green tomatoes that showed, turned red! I couldn't believe it could be helpful at the time, sure did come to terms once the harvest came! I later worked for an online garden/farm supply store and learned in new ways why root pruning in hydroponics is so important. We grew cucumbers in a DWC setup to promote the retail front of the house. I literally had to start pruning the root structure more than once a week to prevent the 3" PVC tubing from CLOGGING with ROOTS!!! Something to try for future defoliation: Think of it like bottoms up in veg and then top down in flower. You want to finish that lollipop (trim 1/5 - maybe even 2/3 of the bottoms of the entire plant) 95 -ideally100% BEFORE flower to prevent LARF. (Only try this if you want consistent nugs for that top shelf bag appeal. Rather useless/wasteful if you WANT to produce for extraction) Once you "flip to flower," consider the total remaining foliar volume of each plant. Trim those fan leaves (and easy access sugar leaves, too) top to bottom, and no more than 10% defoliation per week to prevent too much stress. If you purposefully max out that 10% every week, you'll have ANOTHER lovely form of LST to apply and the harvest time will be cut in half, if not better. Straight to bucking the stems for those who know. However, with growing outdoor, I now leave about 8-12'' of "cushion," or dense foliar growth at the bottom of the plants. This zone is still lightly defoliated to prevent other common problems, yet it remains the final sunlight barrier above the root zone. No direct sunlight gets to the ground under the bulk of the plant, but those top branches are trimmed really tight so the direct light gets ALL THE WAY down to that bottom zone. Frosted, thick, LONG branches that need lost of physical support on top, bushy and solid underneath. WARNING:This type of treatment will likely create HUNGRY plants!!! Final food for thought... Cross training, anyone? Plants and animals are similar in more ways than most commonly give credit. We share much in the way of genetic makeup, and most importantly, we all react favorably when the proper stressors are introduced and especially when stress becomes accepted as a benefit. We all tend to grow well enough under comfortable environmental and nutritional conditions. However, when we go to advanced schools, or endure truly challenging exercise, when we push ourselves through all kinds of other stressors in life, all to become more capable for the security of our futures. We THRIVE and become more than we ever were. Some growers live by "I'm not trimming a single branch ever" and let their plants live relatively easy lives. Some of them grow real nice quality, too! However, I am, and aim to breed warriors. I want the very best of the best. Top 5%. Encouraged to do more (not always with less, my ladies get fed well) so they become more, vibrate on higher levels. Hell, I invite them to evolve if needs be! Have fun, y'all!

I only bend branches AFTER i water at least a day later, the branches are softer . I have to do it with some of my colas when I grow inside they get over 6 feet with a 2 foot 7-10 gallon pots its is scary to do LOL I snapped off a top today accidentally now its a tester for tonight LOL
