It was an honor and pleasure to watch them bring that same energy back to the airwaves, even for this brief moment in time. They could have used their superpowers to run Laura, Ebro and Paul Rosenberg off the air permanently. And Stretch hinted towards this by asking Laura what was your favorite line from "Big Momma Thing".

There are ton's of very old picture's of Hip Hop shows where you can see white people in the crowd. im in Evansville,Indiana..i first heard about their show in 1991 thru hip-hop magazines..by early 1992 i was buying tapes of their shows from some cat in the back pages of the SOURCE magazine..since early 2000's thanks to the internet,i've been collecting shows..i have around 60-70 shows....i will say this though,i wonder why they've stayed away from hip-hop..not the junk that's out now but still playing old school joints in their dj sets....Stretch is playing a lot of crappy house and techno and Bob is playing a lot of latin music,which is cool,but they could at least mix it up some..age should'nt play part in what you listen to.....also,most of their interviews the last few years have focused on major acts that blow up later after being on their show,and that's cool and all,but,i'd like to hear more stuff about the underground acts that were a big part of their shows from 95-98....

It’s not just that he doesn’t want to listen to Hip Hop. It’s about him letting go of childhood things. That’s how white people see our culture. They always love what create when they’re kids. But, after they get older? No, they shun what we create to signal to other white people that, one, they are grown and, two, they’re into their own culture which is superior to black culture.
@jman15620014 жыл бұрын
Ebro was saying he don't listen to Hip-hop like that either so what are you saying???? You are racializing a simple statement and making it bigger then it needs to be to create your own narrative SMH. Growing to not listen to rap music is not a signal to say that white culture is superior to black culture, that's your perception that you took away from the statement to impose your worldview on it. That's shameful and ignorant my brother!!!
