Just tried now. My index finger was barely fitting on the back. Moistured first with a sponge, put on 5 pair of socks, one was a thick thermal sock. 5 min hairdryer, and it’s now nearly 1 size larger. It’s now half a size too large. My finger now easily fits and moves.

If you have a lime squeezer, that also work just place it inside the show and open the lime squeezer, im actually.

Not a gent here, but wow! The hairdryer technique is LIFE-CHANGING. I own a pair of RMs that I absolutely adore but unfortunately bought half a size too small (was the last pair in the design I want)... after placing them on hairdryer for 5 minutes they have never fit so perfectly! Thanks so much!

Great! However I have a question: Do I need to do it every time I wear my oxfords or do I have to do it only once?

This works! Used on my own running shoes and they're much more comfortable now.

Cool way to do it! I've personally just been doing side to side lateral basketball movements to expand the sides to fit my paddleboard feet. The downside with my method is the creasing on the medial side. The upside however is a wider and softer mid-forefoot. Cheers!

Hey there , can you please tell me which style doc martins you stretched out in the video ,the toe on those seem more narrow than the pair I have which I really like .I would really appreciate it. Thankyou
@YourAverageGent3 жыл бұрын
I couldn’t remember the model but it’s a seasonal version of the classic style. The classic toe box version is definitely more comfortable💪

my boots have the model name inside the tongue , can you not look inside your boot somewhere for me please!

Damn! That actually worked! though i don't have a Blow dryer. I steamed it from a boiling kettle. Steam then fit 5x each shoe. I went up to 3 layers of socks.

You can use a heat gun too but you have to be VERY CAREFUL, keep it on low and keep the distance between the the tip of the heat gun to the shoe/boot at least 12 inches away. Heat guns will set things on fire if you’re not super careful!

Solvair are the boots people should be buying. Dr Marten's are based on Solvair boots. Years ago, Solvair were the makers of Dr Martens. Solvair made a really cheap and crappy version of their Solvair boots and shoes and called them Dr Martens. Now Dr Martens have branched out on their own as a company.
