+LITERALLY KRISTINA Take a 0 taper and wrap a few layers of electrical tape around it. Leave it for a few days, and maker sure to keep it clean, then size up. It will be a smoother transition.

9/16 is a good size, but I like 5/8 better. My goal is 3/4" but I think I'd be fine with 5/8" if I can't get there.

Yo lot of ppl dont know u can get a 1g thats in between 2 and 00. It helped me because 2mm jump is rough

Someone else mentioned it, but bondage tape. I prefer bondage tape over Teflon tape. But if you watch my most recent vid about ear stretching stuff, you'll see a good type of taper to get for bigger sizes. K

Does anyone else notice that plugs looks bigger on the ear than when you're holding them in your hands? Marvolo they look great! My goal size is 5/8th so far I'll just have to decide when I get to the size. I'm currently taping to 00g. I say it'll be ready in a couple days

+FlangePit94 Yeah I've definitely noticed that. That's part of why I haven't determined my goal size; I need to know what it looks like on my ear. I want to go somewhere between 14mm-18mm (9/16-3/4 I think) I just am not sure yet. Good luck with your stretch! I haven't had any luck with tape, but I need to try a new sort of tape anyway.

I’m at 7/16 in my left ear and my right lobe is a pain to size up. I slipped the 7/16 silicone tunnel in No problem for my left lobe. My right is just a pain in a half. Any advice would be awesome! Thank you 🙏🏻

Idk I had 00 and after a week like a half hour ago I lived with Joboba oil with intent to wait 4 weeks to stretch and the tunnel was on the verge of falling out so I did something that’s nit recommended and the 7/16 slid in like butter. I got lucky but sometimes you just know lol. I had a 10g captive in and a 12g clicker through the 00 for weight. 7/16 is 100% my goal size not like everybody that says it and changes their mind it’s cause if I go any bigger my second piercing in my lobes will be affected. Plus I only wear rings so I wanted to out a ring through the captive as I like the look. Also, Marvolo, you’re very pretty 🙂

Mainly just single flared steel tunnels and occasionally stone double flared plugs :/ I try and use tapers and it doesn't really hurt, but it just STOPS at a certain point and I don't want to force it so I give up

Freja Wright you just have to force it, if its extremely painful and throbbing/swollen take it out and wait longer. are you using any oil?

^^^definitely dont force it. itll work of course, but you risk a blowout, or even just a small tear tht can be really painful. plus, they look and smell pretty pretty gross when healing. ESPECIALLY with the bigger sizes, your earlobes are thinner and can rip easier. taping helps SO much, and it helped me go from a 2g to a 0g which is essential the infamous difficult ass stretch. sorry im kinda rambling, but yea ptfe tape is gr888. good luck stretching and be safe b !!

I want to get to 7/16. I tried my first stretch to a 14g over the weekend. My ears wouldn't have it. So I bought some heavy 16g earrings and hopefully they will be ready in a month or so.

I did the same thing this time around stretching, though I didn't use any heavy jewelry, and I only waited a week to stretch to 14g because it was so small and not my first time stretching. Shelby Watts personally for me the smaller stretches hurt more. And then when you get to the 2 mm jumps they really hurt. But other than that as long as your ears are ready and you wait long enough it's usually fine

Well first off, it's a carcinogen. safety manuals recommend that plumbers use PTFE tape with gloves on, as to not make contact with their skin ...

Yeah. 7/16" is 11mm. 00g is 10mm. It's a much easier stretch than 0g to 00g.

I mean that's not the best but I did the same thing at those sizes and it worked out alright. You should wait at least a month before stretching again though because 8g-6g is a very painful stretch if you rush it.
