Just as grandiloquent as this composition should be. Great job.

Another really fine example of your dedication to performing the Composer works. As I am only now listening with an early AM cup of coffee on a cell phone it's clear you have much of the unique timbre of the Halloween 81' arrangement in tact. As in some of your previous works I am not hearing the syndrum parts. As I had noted criticism of your phonics in previous songs with vocals I was looking forward to hearing the vocoder parts with more pronounced clarity and a bit more up in the mix. Maybe you can go back and edit or find better samples. The beauty of modern home studio recording. You can edit and tweak things without spending tens of thousands of dollars to fix a bad note or getting any tone color dialed in. Is it hard to get a real Pollard Syndrum these days. All in all this is an amazing example of a musician digging fairly deep into a Frank Zappa composition and arrangement. I applaud your effort. It's great that people are out there paying tribute to the composer's works. I'm looking forward to putting on headphones and having a closer listen. Hopefully this raises awareness to universities, multi instrumentalists, orchestras of all types , to where the composers work become standard repertoire .Be it KZbin videos by multi-instrumentalists with home studios, rock orchestras or large traditional orchestras at Carnegie Hall the educational and performance discipline is key. It's certainly hard to get every little detail perfect but efforts such as this shows the magnitude of how the Composer reached a guy who is trying hard to be every instrument in every row of FZs 81' rock orchestra. Now if we could only get that image of FZ conducting at The Palladium with the chandelier high above his head. A most iconic performance, everything about that Zappa Halloween 81' performance is a model of goals of achievement of a rock orchestra. As I think back to Halloween 81' , that was a very special engagement of shows at the Palladium. Real live in NY performances captured on tape and video for the less fortunate parts of the world. Somehow I wish a guy like you could have attended those events. The Zappa Band will play a series of 8 shows in 4 nights at The Baked Potato in Los Angeles this Halloween weekend . Maybe you can fly in.

Hi, if i only had the original Lyn-Drum and the Electro-Comp vocoder, i would shurely use it of course. And there are nowhere Plugins with an acceptable sound close to the original.
