You've convinced me, I'm gonna run this deck for a while. Always loved white, always loved equipment, it's everything I like, and it's gonna last a while, sold.

We can't really afford to be a midrange deck, which is why we're not playing Militant Inquisitor, Toll Collector, Open the Armory, Sigarda's Aid, Brawler's Plate, or anything else that costs 3 mana or would be a waste of tempo. Same goes for Always Watching; we already have 2 different anthem effects attached to creatures, we won't need a third just to make Stitcher's Graft more comfortable. People have even been suggesting 4-mana cards; the only one I'd play, ever, is Gideon, maybe (and even then, probably just as a 2-of in the board). Speed is what's most important here! Love you guys

Hey Dev, just a suggestion but I been playing a variant of this Boros Equipment deck ever since Oath of the Gatewatch came out. I have to say now with the variation on creature types, I found Stoneforge Masterwork to be underwhelming most of the time, not pumping creatures enough for the 2 mana cost to equip it. Everything else looks pretty solid tho, thanks for the deck techs as always! PS. I like your sick rap beats, been listening to them on soundcloud :D

Goujiki there are six Kor allies in the deck and even more when claws are equipped and you're attacking. Plus eight humans. It'll give pretty decent pumps I think.

Chris Gallo There's too many situations where you just have only like 1 ally, or 1 dwarf or servo or something, and the equip cost is pretty high for a piece that doesnt give a huge bonus. thats been my testing /shrug.

You had me at "budget", but this looks simple and fun to play. Just what I like to play! I would main deck Aerial Responder most of the time Ithink. This guy is just too good! And, as you said Vigilance is perfect match for Stitcher's Graft. BTW, I love the new feature where at the end you show cards that were considered for the deck and the explanation on why they were cut.

I like your deck techs a lot because every deck you present seems like it was well thought out. You explain your ideas very clearly and easily and that's what I like the most. I think it's cool all the "tech" improvements you are making to the channel, but please don't lose your essence, stay strong as the nice and cool guy you are, so we can continue to look forward to see you every other day online. Let me start by saying it's a solid budget deck and a fun concept. I think the Toll Collector is well worth looking at along with one or two copies of Slayer's Plate and and Haunted Cloak. The Toll Collector makes an amazing round four or five finisher if you have a Haunted Cloak and any number of other equipment cards on the field. With a Haunted Cloak on the field that Troll comes out of nowhere and strait up ends games often swinging for huge trampling, hasted, vigilant damage. The vigilance from the cloak also helps deal with the horrible draw back of the Stitcher's Graft, the haste helps vs control match ups and the trample prevents chump blocking giving the deck more reach. The problem this deck will have is the same problem any Voltron style deck has which is that if you run into a control deck they can wipe out your creatures leaving you with nobody to equip. I know this is a budget deck, but a very good but money intensive addition to it would be Gideon.

Always love your vids and thank you. I think key to the city would help with CA and getting your guys through (at least warrants testing). No point of huge power not getting through. that SB removal is your only hope against flyers. There are some angels, copters and spirits that are sooo popular that it makes sense to move removal to the main board. This is a fun deck which could be built many different ways.

It is, but it depends upon your local meta. Here's my take on a WU mill deck: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/azorious-mill-kld-standard-1/ It started as a mono-blue deck, but I decided that some things are just worth killing permanently instead of bouncing or shrinking with Aether Meltdown. You could easily make it cheaper, but the superfriends are there for delirium, and it is hard to beat Declaration in Stone on a board full of Prized Amalgams.

I made something very similar to this a while ago! However I think stitchers and alcoylte and bone saw weren't the best so I substituted them with flame mantle and bushwaker that way you can benefit more on the ally typing with flame mantle and bushwaker surging in after you play a artifact or creature gives you that extra power you might need.

I remember there being a RW Ally Equipment deck. It looked a little better cause you would stack a bunch of Rally triggers. Lantern Scout, Firemantle Mage and that one ally that gives all allies double strike until end of turn. Seemed pretty good.

2nd comment, and after reading your other comments and testing... this is some damn fine work. blessed alliance, yay or nay? main or side? I have warping wail in the main over exhibition (there's always equipment on board and instant speed - make your eldrazi token on their end step and equip everything and swing also with Graf he turns into a mana ramp to equip something else also can make a rare but usually lethal board wipe counter - because this deck really should be lethal at turn 5 or 6). the issue seems to be GR energy stomper creatures and UW flash. and not quite being able to finish them off. I'm considering main because it has its uses and can be easily sided out for more speed. Finally do you see a spot for a 1 of nihiri in the side? I tried main deck and she just doesn't work unless you run into artifacts or fevered visions. I think she's a nice fit for those match ups.

I agree with you on Chrono Cross. It's a better, more grown up game and the variety of characters is something that just isn't seen. Not an easy game either. I nearly smashed my controller through my TV a few times on the final boss.

Too slow. We're trying to win on turn 5. Also on turn 3 we're often using our mana to equip our creatures, so I didn't consider Inquisitor or Toll Collector. The best 3-drops for the deck are the ones in the board. Inquisitor and Collector are too dinky. As for OtA, I'd rather just play another equipment in that slot instead

Personally i think i would play at least 1 silver bullet OtA in this deck of yours, i noticed that in my own mono-white equipment deck it's fairly powerful to get what you need (hence i put 3x OtA in there), instead of relying on what you get from your draw. Especially since the equipment options are still fairly cheap to cast and equip. Then again, in my deck the kind of equipment you want is fairly specific, while this W/R deck seems to mostly 'just want an equipment'. In my mono-white version OtA pretty much counts as extra copies of the equipment i want (unless i side for fun silver bullet stuff).

If you want to forgo the budget plan, this deck can be significantly upgraded by moving it to jeskai. It allows you to play stormchaser mage and saheeli, which are far better than expected. It also allows the sideboard to be far more versatile and speeds the deck up a lot. I agree that the deck should not have cards above 3 cmc, but I do disagree with you on sigarda's aid. It speeds the deck up, gives prowess triggers, and allows you to get around stitchers graft's attack clause for a turn, which can often be enough to kill them. Also reckless bushwacker can allow for turn 3 kills with the deck.

hey dev, what do you think of warping wail instead of servo exhibition? i really like the idea of having options... especially that second one for the reason you said... sweeper dodger. also, what do you think of nahiri as a one of (that's all i have)? would you main or side? im considering main just in case I have a game one stale mate. she can replace dead land or excess equipment draws for more potent draws. also could be an end game killer because i dont think i would ever ult her. just up and down 2 depending on the turn. seeing your thoughts and thanks for this deck idea. i love trying these out at fnm and this one looks good. finally i know youre against lands coming in tapped... but what about sandstone bridge? the synergy with stitchers graft seems like a 2 of would be ok... because we're trying to end the game quick getting an extra turn out of it. just a few questions because this is the best deck tech imo.

With so much card draw based on discard, and so many damage cards with madness, don't you think a direct damage deck could work at the moment? I've been trying one (not that much, been busy), red deck with a splash of black (for Alms of the Vein and more sideboard options like Lost Legacy), and honestly, I've never run out of cards in my hand, despite spitting out spells left and right. This is the list: 4 Fiery Temper 4 Tormenting Voice 4 Incendiary Flow 4 Chandra's Pyrohelix 4 Alms of the Vein 2 Lightning Axe 2 Collective Defiance 2 Avacyn's Judgment 1 Shreds of Sanity 4 Insolent Neonate 4 Thermo-Alchemist 2 Bedlam Reveler 2 Sin Prodder 1 Goldnight Castigator 13 Mountain 4 Foreboding Ruins 3 Swamp Could maybe add 2 lands and remove something (maybe 2 pyrohelixes, or castigator/1 reveler). There a lot of triggers for madness that also make you draw cards (4 neonates, 4 tormenting voices), so that you deal damage while refilling your hand 1 to 1 (in the case of neonate) and 2 for 2 (in the case of voice). Sin Prodder gives you a nice boost, since most of the deck has 2-3 CVCs (doesn't slow it down due to madness), so most of the time it guarantees you're going to deal 2 to 3 damage, besides having menace. It also draws a bit of the aggro away from Thermo-Alchemist, or at least works as an alternative for the alchemist's damage, since people tend to use removals on it (I haven't seen many decks with more than 4 removals, so...). Reveler, Shreds of Sanity and Collective Defiance can also help you draw cards, while still sort of bringing damage (right away or in the future), so that you don't have to spend any turn just "recharging" your hand, you're always threatening. By the time you don't have much madness left, you can just discard extra lands or something. I think the other cards kind of speak for themselves. I don't know if this deck is good, haven't tested it enough to say so. But the biggest weakness of burn decks is running out of cards while the dude is still alive, and that hasn't happened with me with this deck at all. Lifegain is also not that great unless the dude has a fuckton of it. And it costs like $50 bucks even with those lands. Can you take a look at it and maybe test it out if it makes you curious? Could become an interesting video if it worked, just mention me in the video if you do it please ^_^ danke

rickxhoshinji I've tested a deck very similar with sigardas aid, and honestly you never really rely on it. mainly because you only play one copy as with anymore they end up dead cards if you have one in play.

rickxhoshinji - many of the equipment in the deck already cost cheap enough that free equipment probably isn't worth the loss in tempo. After all, this could have been another 1 drop equipment or another 2 power 1 drop. This deck wants to win the game before Sigarda's Aid becomes useful. I feel like a more midrange equipment deck could abuse S.A. Flashing in equipment as combat tricks or maybe as some sort of combo enabler.

@InternetNinjacy ... actually, i build a midrange orriented mono-white equipment deck, and i still don't play SA. because even when orienting for midrange (well in my strategy anyways), you want to have fairly cheap creatures and fairly cheap equipment to be ready to get into the fight for those midrange turns (with equiping an all) ... There is just one combination in which i think it could be a thing, Green/White Human Equipment, with actual Sigarda in it, together with Woodland Patrol, Veteran Cathar and Thalia, 3-4x Open the Armory and very few equipment in the deck. It be a somewhat weird deck strategy though, as you are playing some passive control to find the Aid, and have Sigarda in play, to then start to find your equipement and gain the upper hand. And even then, with 3 or so SA in the deck and no way to go get it (as it's not an aura) you rely heavily on chance ... The biggest benefit of the card isn't even the equipment with flash, it's the aura's with flash. As currently a lot of white 'removal' is actually an aura (a total of 4 different pacifying cards in white are aura's), which, for a deck that would want to play as a sort of control deck would be a huge benefit. Again though, chance of having it in hand ruins the usefulness... So perhaps this card is only really useful in EDH? (beside a 'win easier' 1-2 copies) where you can go find it with a tutor, use it's aura and equipement clause to flash in 'pacifying removal' and equipment which can again benefit from tutors. Quite possibly with Sigarda as commander. (sounds like a fun deck to build and play tbh.)

Saiyan Goomba it's not a terrible addition in my opinion. It still has synergy with the inventor's apprentice and toolcraft exemplar and gives better card advantage than acolyte. If nothing else u could put them in the board for situations where u feel like u need it.

I had this card in my pro-rotation mono-white equipment deck, and yes, it can be very powerful, still hard to fit though, and as a silver bullet option there is no way to fetch for it. Still though, if it sticks it makes life a lot easier (it's currently card 16 in my sideboard, aka. under consideration to put back in.)

The Graf sacrifice/stone haven outfitter lets you draw a card? The Graf doesn't trigger until after its unattatched, right? At which point it would no longer trigger the outfitter. I'm sure I'm missing something I'm just not sure where it is.

Maybe you double equip more often than you would think, at which point the opponents choice is: destroy the Graf or destroy the bonesaw. Destroy the graf = destroy the creature (and the +3/+3), bone saw falls off, and stone haven triggers.

Buffs coming from Trainer, Bushwhacker and Outfitter makes our creatures even bigger and add the rally triggers that can give first strike and lifelink this deck is a little slower but could be a lot more explosive. Plus masterwork is even better because all out creatures are allies and the Claws also make more allies. This deck can be quite good. There were other allies such as Firemantle Mage and Resolute Blademaster but I'm not sure I think them as much as the others for some reason.

eh this deck is weird lol. I like the fast budget aggro you made, I swapped the village messengers for inventors apprentice, and also swapped the speedway fanatics with scrapheap, and took out 4 mountains for 4 aether hubs xD and changed the side board just a tad bit. but there are a million turn 4 wins with that deck xD
