Transitions were fun, I like into the woods for ramp, because you can bait removal with a creature or use the food to recover from aggro a bit.

This is why standard is so amazing right now! I will be skipping bloomburrow completely, and will stick with decks from my fave sets, Karlov Manor, and Ixalan. I made 8 decks that hold their own every week at my locals. Way more fun than modern high-roller format. Brings back type II memories and premodern vibes 💪🏻💯😎✌🏻

Boros Convoke may have to go Jeskai and swap Epicure for Spyglass Siren. With Novice Inspector and Gleeful Demolition, they can still potentially convoke Knight-Errant of Eos on T2.

i NEED a (preferably cheap) bloomburrow legendary racoon that makes junk tokens. no, it's not just because i need it to make my Naya Legends Impulse Draw Midrange deck featuring Annie Joins Up more than just jank. it's mostly that but that's not the only thing.

I will say, I’m more excited for next years rotation. The reason? Sheoldred and “Go For the Throat” are absolutely overpowered, and need to be dealt with. I hate Obliterator too (the 4 plains Vindicator is annoying but never seen), but Sheoldred is an easy button and should never have been made as tough as she is (very clearly balanced to make her Obliterating Bolt proof >.>) or only trigger 1-2 times a turn.

Another big pull for the midrange golgari deck is Glissa. That card is such a house.

Shout out to subterranean schooner! Been playing a Simic cookies build that is currently 32-9. Schooner puts in the work! That deck makes mono red scoop. It's glorious.

I'll miss Memory Deluge even more than the Emperor, but perhaps the greatest loss to us control players is the slow lands. I'm mostly on Dimir right now, playing 4 Restless Reef and 2 Jace as my win conditions.
