Exactly how we feel! We want to make this type of content, but our country doesn't have all these kinds of markets and stores and interesting food/snacks. But we started with what we could, some local snacks, and some asian snacks that we could find. We will try to get into it more and see how we can make it about food more.
@kevinh96

I know the feeling. Here in the UK major cities tend to have at least one Asian supermarket but most towns don't, but even if you do find one they are not a patch on the US ones. My nearest large town had one until a couple of years ago and it closed down :(

I know I love my local international markets, especially one by my local Vietnamese cuisine restaurant. I always eat local and shop local to help support other cultures businesses. We have at least 4 international markets and I always encourage people to go to them and try new things they normally don't try. Please do your part and help local shop owners and restaurant owners keep their business afloat. We are lucky other cultures even want to share their food and business with us or we wouldn't have authentic food or treats to explore and we wouldn't of been able to learn more about other cultures and their traditions.

I decided to try cooking a scallion pancake in my air fryer and omg I love it so much more now. I mean don't get me wrong, the regular way to cook it is amazing but it's always been slightly oily to me because it really soaks that oil up. But this is just crispy and fluffy all around, plus it made to be a great "chip" for eating hummus with lol

I like how in China/most of Asia it's common to use *every* part of an animal when you cook it! Some people may think buying a duck head or pork bones is gross, but it's so much less wasteful than just using the "good" cuts of the meat

As a Bangladeshi born person who only got to know Chinese supermarket food six years ago, I absolutely adore them even more than SEA grocery stores. Sachima is more eggy, softer compared to rice crispies, so many flavors too. Highly recommend pineapple cake(October fifth brand), imei choco puff, egg roll wafer, “big bro” fried crispy rice crackers, tai yang bing( sun cake) . They also sell frozen shrimp hard gow, shomai that only takes few minutes to steam. Love them

Omgoodness...you just gave me the best idea! Where I live there are absolutely ZERO Asian food markets. (Because I live in bumcrap Pennsylvania). Anyway, I love making homemade Ramen and I can NEVER find (good) meat that is sliced thin enough to cook when the broth is poured over it...and 99% of the time the only protein I end up with is an egg. BUT.....my local butcher will do hotpot slices!! So, you’ve made me a very happy woman!!!! 😋👍🏻😊
