I like Hamido but I LOVE Abuqir. Both are excellent though. Both are Egyptian style seafood joints. Their best thing is their tagine which has a wonderful tomato base

The moussaka does look good tho they should have removed the bay leaves. Is it just ground beef or a mix of lamb and beef which is typical of a Greek Recipe?? And yes, the octopus looked very good. Especially with fresh squeezed lemon. Made my mouth water. And nothing better than a winter picnic - eating that really nice looking smash burger with those cheese fries. Tho I want my fries just a little more crispy. I think the double burger was perfect. Maybe some yellow mustard but not even necessary really. Yummy!! Seafood next tho - omg!!! 😋
