Thank you. It's a weird thing, especially during social isolation. Spending this much time listening to you, you feel like someone I know better than some actual friends! These are strange times we live in. So thank you, all the time you put into this is much appreciated. You set the standard for me when I first started playing CS, and look how the game has blossomed, and the astonishing work people do now. (Mars, anyone?) It kinda feels like you got that all started. Well done. Good luck, and I'll be following your work, I've a feeling you're good at whatever you turn your hand to.

I've stopped playing CS for a while. I do still subscribe to a lot of assets/mods, but last time I also removed a lot. The game still needs so much time to load and it's not fun without decent assets. Also noticed that I'm only watching your series, sort of stopped all the others. To be honest I feel the game needs a part 2. The graphics in the base game are just too outdated.
@Rahulram-fe4qy4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Valid point
@antonin7014 жыл бұрын
100% agreed. I kind of stopped playing too for the same reasons : performance (in game and loading time) and graphics (the game looks like crap without a huge amount of assets/mod/Map themes/LUT/good maps). The game is rumored to receive a sequel next year. I hope it is true. And I hope that if it is, Strictoaster will play it and create wonderful cities again.

This was the first series of city skylines that i watched, simply because you were the first youtuber that i found that would offer a good ratio between time, progress, a pleasant narration and coincidentally had just started. in a way, I'm glad this series ended because every time I watch a Nydal video Strictoaster will do a detailing thing that is subtle but genius and I would be like, why didn't I think of that, and then I'd have to make a note of it, and there's so many of those notes that I've made that I can't even remember or have never gotten around to doing, so that's it, that's the only reason I'm glad this ended, there are so many reasons that I'm not glad this series ended so real talk tho I didn't mean it when I said in a way, I'm glad this series ended

This has been a great series and you’ve done a great job, and I know we’ll all be eagerly awaiting whatever it is you decide to do next. And hey, if you don’t enjoy doing a lot of commentary, there’s nobody saying you have to. You could do a little at the beginning and end to say hi and maybe a quick summary of what you worked on, and then fill the rest of the video with some good music. I think everybody would enjoy that just as much.
