@njcoinhunter we had Staffordshire terriers growing up....infact I'm 3 generations down the line now haha, anyway I just giggled thinking of a dog gnawing a tibia 😆 our boy was small and stocky but he had this beef shin bone most of his life that was ignored and left until someone came in the house...then he'd trott about back and forth with his head lopsided just barely holding this huuuuge bone, showing it off and vocalising 😆🤣 people always said "whos leg is that" ?! 😆🤣 "the last guy who annoyed me" 😂 Off topic but jokes aside man metal detecting and treasure hunting, as you do, is awesome, always admire folk like yourself who get themselves out there and put effort in finding all sorts of cool stuff from history 💪🏻 here's hoping you find something that'll long term look after you man, the ground holds many a secret and fortune ☺️ in the meantime I'll for sure check out your other vids 🫡💪🏻

It’s called a partial. Probably lived in CA when work was done. CA used a lot of gold in their Dental work. ie crowns, bridges and partials. Retired Dental Tech.

Its a removable partial denture. Its not a dental bridge. As early as the 60's they used gold in partial dentures. People are not buried with their full dentures or partials in their mouth. It was probably in somebodies pocket and fell out.
