Her high notes sound a bit strained and whiney but her head voice is pretty good. Mariah's voice is literally one of a kind and any cover will never do one of her songs justice. It's cute that these singers attempt it and try to change it up a bit. However, they usually change it because they can't replicate the original note. Perhaps my dislike of this cover stems from being a fan of Mariah though. I only want to hear the original version and nothing compares to the original in my book.

Dylan That's exactly what I'm saying though. If you can't sing it then don't. If you must sing a song by Mariah then sing a song that is in your range. These women try to sing songs by Mariah knowing darn well that they cannot replicate it at all. Kudos for having the gall to do that but most of the time they fall flat. No pun intended lol
