I watch your videos all the time as a stress reliever and to get ideas. My 8 year old son was jealous that I was teaching my 11 year old daughter to quilt so he picked this video as his first project to learn. I am a Coordinator for Project Linus in Santa Clarita Valley, CA and he is doing an amazing job learning ro quilt for a NICU baby like he was. I'd love to attach a photo of his first "block of fire" for you here to show what you have inspired in my kiddos! When I can figure out how to do that from my phone I will do that in hopes that you check your comments! Thank you for these awesome videos and your awesome humor that lifts me up on a rough day especially when I can't get on my machine.

I appreciate your videos in that you keep it real. Anyone can duplicate the projects with basic tools . So many out grow their viewers by projects using high dollar over the top machines and materials. Too many start off basic and next you watch , they are on long arms or embroidery machines with on board editing. I want to be able to make a project and feel the joy of sewing :)

Your show has quickly become my favorite, I so look forward to them each week! The quilting on this (the flower in the center) was beautiful. I do not think I will ever have that much control to make a design symmetrical. And I love that you use a small machine. Could you maybe show a few minutes of quilting the centers of the large quilts? I have nightmares squeezing all the fabric thru the small throat. Thank you!

Only variation was to add strips between each block and a wide border. Also embroidered the college name and graduation year in a few blocks - gave as a graduation gift.
