0:25 - Fumbly Bumbly is by far my favorite puzzle creator! I don't know how she does it, but her puzzles are some of the most elegant, intricate and fun to solve, while also looking absolutely dazzling using just puzzlemaker! 2:45 - Ha, saw it coming! 2:58 - Well, some of her puzzles are difficult, but the majority of them - especially more recent ones - are quite easy and simple 4:50 - I hadn't thought of it that way... until now 12:44 - The pink alcove was too much of a bumpy ride for the cube, which was a turn off for the funnel. You're welcome Fumbly's a genius! You should play more of her maps, they're all as good - if not better - than this one :)
@ngeruma2 жыл бұрын
I've been hearing a lot about how good her maps are and if this is like an easy(ish) sample, i look forward to more, i do have another but i read it's supposed to be very difficult so it's kind of intimidating lol 2:45 you know me too well now lol 4:50 you're welcome ;) 12:44 appreciated, i didn't get the sticky note in time though :) I will definitely be playing some more of her maps, impressive to see such a minimalist looking map have such a strong vibe of it's own. Thanks again dude!

Very cool! And congrats on working through that one without getting into "the loop of doooooom" ;) Time to give yourself some credit, you are getting pretty good at these!
@ngeruma2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that loop could of been all to easy to fall into, i think i either got lucky with this one, or it's one of those maps where the puzzle design is actually kind of intuitive, i don't mean easy, but like the design lets the player discover what options they have step by step. As always, thank you for watching and i haven't forgotten about your other comments, you'll have more replies in a little bit :)

Nice video! I totally love Fumbly Bumbly’s maps. She make very cool chambers that are very clever, well thought puzzle that will leave you proud once you solved the chamber. In fact, her guide of making chambers have taught me so many ways that I’ve been inspired by not just Fumbly Bumbly, but to all the other professionals map makers who made this happen.

I've been seeing a lot of comments praising Fumbly Bumbly and it's clear to see why, and i totally agree these kind of puzzles really reward you by making you feel smart when you finally work out the solution. I didn't know Fumbly Bumbly had chamber making guides too, i'll have to check those out sometime. I have another Fumbly Bumbly map too, but from what i hear it's much, much, harder than than this one :) As always, thanks for watching and commenting dude :D

Great chamber ! Clever puzzle and awesome music too !! Very calming and lively chamber which is a nice contrast from cold, dry aperture science Also you're definitely improving at these. I was expecting you to take a long time to figure out the portal switches for knocking off the cube, but you got it in 2 tries only ! You also figured out final cube respawn which took me far too long to figure out You have no right to call yourself a noob now. GG PS: Would love to know more "bri'ish" facts and trivia about people's usernames
@ngeruma2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, this was a very elegant puzzle and design, it's impressive that just a little hint of warm colour and the music can change the vibe of a map so much. From what i've heard, it's something of Fumbly Bumbly's speciality. Oh don't worry i'm sure there will be plenty of very noob moments still to come, sometimes i just do better than usual, but still watching this one back some of those "thinking" pauses i took are really long and awkward lol More bri'ish facts ay? i'll do my best good sir! ;)

Ah yes, another ngeruma video, its just something that ngeruma is talented at making these commentary videos while solving test chambers at the same time! For my related note: you should deserve more subscribers for the effort you make into these videos, the intro is similar to the portal 2 videos that valve released of the upcoming teaser trailers for portal 2. These videos are worth watching even if you are making a hammer map and it keeps crashing and you want to lose all of your stress making a detailed hammer map or watch portal 2 content. (If you take the last sentence a "insult" then I am sorry for the sentence I wrote.)
@ngeruma2 жыл бұрын
"talented"? .....noooo. Occasionally has good/lucky nights when playing maps, and manages to work them out with out taking a ridiculously long time for once would be a more accurate way of describing it lol. These intro graphics where very kindly made for me by Wii2, so full credit for them goes to him. Thank you for watching and for the very kind comment too! :D

7:00 I don't think MikeAstro makes videos on how to make better chambers. He makes videos explaining different concepts and moves you can pull off in the game. I believe Demon Arisen is probably who you're thinking of.

Both of them have made such videos I think

@EVILOL you're right Demon Arisen does have more videos like that, Mikeastro does have a few really good ones too, he's got one pretty titled 'why does your map suck' lol As always, Thank you for still watching these!

Finally got around to playing this map after being on vacation for a week when I realised I've actually played this map before! 100% believed I cheesed the puzzle but it was still really fun playing it again! Edit: yep I totally cheesed it but thank you for showing me how to actually do that correctly.
