Thank you first off.. ocean beach can be tricky this time of the year. It’s always good to check the surrounding beaches if wave energy is too high. Surf-forecast.com is a great tool to predict that. Wave finder is an app that I use as well to monitor wind as well.

@@mikestacklebox what would you consider the ideal condition? What's would you say is too high or perfect? Also, how far out are you casting?

@@chrisher3508 wave energy around 400-600 Range. Honestly I am not throwing far I just have a lighter and very parabolic rod. 10 foot 1/4-3/4 lure rating. I use 20lb lb super slick v2 and a 30lb leader.
