Hello, everyone! I'm back out with my family fishing at New Hogan Lake, doing night to early morning fishing. The bites started picking up early morning around 5am. Bait used is anchovies and frozen shad. Total catch 8 stripers and 2 channel catfish. Tight Line.. keep on fishing..

I'm usually work the lake inlet and toward the dam. Once I find the fish, I will just anchor up and press my luck.

Yes, I do look for fish prior anchoring. And yes, the gate close at 9 pm, but you can leave whenever.
