Just a helpful hint, Tom Take one of your rod holders without an extension on it and place it in its base facing out in a horizontal setting. The next time you get a double going, it makes it easy to fight the second fish by sliding the net handle into the rod holder while you fight the 2nd fish to the boat. I fish alone most of the time, and it has been very helpful. Love your content and your approach to advancing our sport!

Tom, growing up, Sunday mornings first thing I would do is turn on my dad's zenith TV and watch al Linder, Bill dance and hank along with many others catch fish all around and dream of that time of the year when we would pack up the car and head to TE on LCO for our yearly trip where I could get the chance to fish the amazing waters chasing the almost unseen walleye at the time, with my dad and brothers. Fast forward to now, I find myself on every Sunday morning flipping to you tube find your latest video before all others while I make my wife breakfest dreaming of September when I take my bothers back up to the stunning waters of lco to chase the walleye and many other species of fish while they sit at the bar and heavily support the bartenders money needs haha. Please don't stop making these videos weekly. As I know you are from the same generation as i, and watched the same fishing shows back in the day. Thanks tom for all you do and keep the best Sunday morning fishing shows coming!

Tom, Would like to respectfully suggest you ALWAYS wear your kill tether when operating your big engine. If you run your big tiller engine as I (most) do with a bit of tension on the tiller twist throttle, the engine will not go down to idle if you hit an obstruction, or heaven forbid, another boat hits you. The Warrior hydraulics are as close to bullet proof as any system, but if that were to fail as well, then there will be enormous torque on your handle if you are trimmed way down or up at near full throttle. It is the other boaters we need to worry about most, of course, but if your engine cuts immediate power if you were to be ejected, then there is at least that. Thanks for your videos, and continued enjoyment of the best tiller boat on the water.

Im going to a very popular walleye lake in Washington but i’ve never caught a walleye from my boat. Only under a dam with a worm. So this is helpful. I was gonna troll divers like this or maybe swim baits or spinner blades with crawlers. But i was hoping to troll diving crankbaits

I do a lot. Reef runner out 25 feet . Add 1 oz. snap wieght and out another 25 feet in 35 feet of water. It works.

I got a question so the lake I fish alot is about 18 feet at the deepest and how do I troll cranks if the weeds come up to 15 feet even 12 feet the weeds arn't alot but they do come up that high and I haven't marked fish that high so how would I do it?

I fish lakes like you're describing. Fish the weed edges or fish above the weeds. Even in deep water walleyes will come up to hit a bait above the weeds. Weed edges are always good in any lake though from what I've found

In-line lead weights work great- we use the fish shaped ones they sell at basspro. Come in many colors and sizes. Easy to find how deep you are running if you can’t figure it out w the charts - let back your rig with your line counter and run shallower until you hit bottom- then you know with certainty what that bait runs, with that many feet back with that much lead……..and with lead - speed matters too so it only works for that specific speed too
