Sadly had a new rod but the sad part was the spinning rod doesn't have good flexibility to load an unload to throw lure a country mile. Sadly I have no way to get to a place to try out rods I liked the rod you advertised from catch the fever. Next fishing trip I'm junking the broom stick handle rod save my money an get that rod you advertised an pair it with a quality an affordable reel. I already saw a quality reel that'll pair nicely with the rod you advertised. I won't even sell the rod I don't like because I don't want someone to have junk that I Sadly bought. Sorry for rambling on 😆😆

Good info brother. Unfortunately you might not like the CTF rod for casting lures. To be honest you will likely get tired after a little while because the rods are really designed for live and cut bait. The super soft tip and firm backbone set them apart from any bait rod I’ve ever seen, especially in that price range. Because they are designed to be in a rod holder at strike, they are not very balanced and are a bit heavier to work in your hands casting all day. I know a few guys chucking plugs with them and they seem to like them, but i don’t want you to be disappointed. I have a feeling you have a lot of experience and are in tuned to what you want more than most. 👍👍

I use a lowrance hook reveal, and the marks look nothing like your units. You have that dialed in so well, nothing I try comes close. It’s one of those things I wish I put more money into, especially the touch screen.

Just off water temp I know when this was. Mike, unreal season for me and sons off the kayak. They didn’t start in the spots like usually very early but seemed to fill out like always as the spring went on. The bait early just wasn’t there then filled in before the crazy nor’easter.
