I prefer using a rig when the water current is slower. But if the pump is open that much. I prefer a single swim bait on fast current.

Is most of the aqueduct fishing community from southern Cali ? I live on the coast right near Pismo beach area so closest part of the aqueduct for me is In Taft . Any good fishing near there ?

Yes, the community is big near the Bakersfield area. Lots of good fishing spots near Taft. I don’t know specific spots and it’s just better to give it a try.

Just got back . About 5 other people fishing the same gate as me . Only 1 person caught one . Had some boils right in front of me but they wouldn’t hit anything I was throwing at them .

Sometimes Stripers be picky. They won’t hit an A-Rig, but as soon as you cast a single swim-bait, they’re like “Yummy”! Great Catch brother! One & Done Striper type of day for you. SLAY!! Haha 🤙🔥
