Glad I can help. I plan on having the harness fleshed out in the next few weeks here. It may not be installed, but all the needed info should be there.

Just a heads up. The thing on the passenger side looks like the speed sensor. The wire coming off of it should run down to the trans. This is needed for the digital dash speedo to work properly. I think analogs cars with an auto trans also had this thing. I am not sure. Anywhoo. Mine was broken and those cables are a pain to find and quite expensive. Oh and that coolant sensor thing. I think only came on very specific model year and trim combos. It does indeed go into a coolant passage. My 89T did not come with a sensor there so I drilled mine out and installed a thermal switch for my fans in that location. Other people relocate the CHTS there.

at 9:36 I have a 86, na, analog dash car, and also have those two connectors not plugged into anything. have never been able to find any forum posts or anything talking about them either

So I just looked at the manual, ig pre 88 or 87 cars have those 2 plugs for the control harness. I’m guessing it has something to do with diagnostics. I honestly didn’t look into it anymore after seeing that lol
